I have only a few things to say about the last few episodes.

The first one is: Holy crap that was amazing!

Matt sacrificing himself for Karen. Dex doing one final thing for Matt. Jessica showing up!?

However. I do genuinely hate the fact that Fisk is allowed to run free at all and that he's even alive. Honestly reminds me of politics today, but without vigilantes actually fist fighting them.

Dex finding a purpose that's honestly bordering on 'north star' type thing. Like come on Dex! I thought we were finally over that and he didn't stay with Matt! Got my hopes up (￢_￢)

I kinda get it tho, cuz why would you want to stay with the one person who can make you miss? Aside from finding it and them hot/cute.

Matt stopped Dex from ending Fisk and Venessa so mnay times. New York could've been safer by now if someone just trapped Matt in a room for an hour so Dex or Frank could've killed him.

I feel bad for Matt. He's trying so hard to keep his morals and be a good Catholic. While literally everyone else is trying to stop him from keeping his morals.

He got amazing character development throught the shows. Very happy about that.

Unfortunately, he's now going to get his ass beat in prison and no one can help him and if they try, he'll likely stop them. The man's gonna die.

I wanna know why Fisk was still given the deal even after what he did to the protesters. Because you already know he did infact kill some of them. Questionable for every side involved in giving Fisk that, Matt included.

If you can prove the crime, then they should do the time!

Very excited for season 3! I'm not sure how it will go, and I'm wondering if Matt's going to die next.

One last thing: Karen and Matt do not belong together. I'm a huge fan of the ship, but only in s1 DD. In the rest of them Matt's not at all caring about his partners until DDBA s2 and she honestly could do way better.

Like girl, date women for a change or go find Frank and keep someone around who can corral Matt because he doesn't like to listen a whole lot.

I'm now a DexMatt shipper and I absolutely hated Dex in DD s3. I don't hate him now. I love him and his character.

They're so cute honestly. Matt can't hate him thanks to Foggy; and Dex trying to be better while 'suicidal' at the same time. Dex isnt necessarily suicidal because while he wants to die, he wants someone else to do it as a form of punishment for everything he's done. So kinda suicidal but also not due to the definition of the word.

I don't blame Dex for wanting out of the psych ward. Those can genuinely mess someone up far more then they can help even without people trying to ruin the person. Different people need different treatments and not a lot of people get that in those places. I hate Venessa for using that against him and for making, yes making, him kill Foggy.

Did Venessa force his hand? Yes and no. She didn't hold a knife to his throat but she did hold a metaphorical one to it. She manipulated/blackmailed him into killing Foggy just so that he would have a chance at feeling like a human being again.

Dex obviously regrets it and we can see that he is trying to be a better person in DDBA. He's not killing innocent people and he's trying to find his own way. He's killing people who are hurting innocents and those who are just bad people in general.

He's like Frank but with BPD and not just trauma. Not anger issues for Frank like Dex has tho. I don't think Frank has anger issues from what I've seen so far. It's not like hes a raging dick for no reason nor does he seem have random moments of anger. The guy honestly just seems traumatized and wants to keep everyone safe so what happened to his family doesnt happen to anyone else's.

I'm hoping Dex lives honestly.

I very much understand why DexMatt is a big thing now. I'm only on ep3, but that scene had me grinning. I know the shippers have a big thing for how toxic it is but; Dex that's fucking adorable! I know I'm a little fucked up for saying so, but oh my god.

Either Dex was following Matt to help him and repay his 'debt' from when Matt set him free or he was following those guys.

BUT in either case he had the knife already carved into/painted on for when he ran into Matt next and I find that absolutely adorable!

Who would carry a knife painted with 'your welcome' just to kill someone for you? Literally no one! I'm curious to see what else Dex will do for Matt, but I haven't forgiven him from killing Foggy. Although, now I have Venessa to blame for it.

I enjoy toxic relationship fics where they're too codependent to leave eachother but toxic and say shit or do things to hurt eachother all the time. I rarely read the ones where it causes physical pain but with the two of them, that'd be unavoidable sometimes.

I feel like Dex would have this weird interest in Matt saving people who've wronged him and his 'admiration' for Matt would grow like it did with Eileen and Julie.

A bit of DDBA was spoiled for me due to all of the excited people wanting to share, I don't blame them DD and DDBA are beautiful. So I already knew this dude wasn't going to be in it.

However, with all of the posts asking 'where's Matt', I'm confused. Did y'all not watch s2 or hear any spoilers and if not, how??? How are yall not getting spoilers mixed in with your regular posts because my feeds either give me both or none and half the time there's no spoiler warning and I still see a good chunk of spoiler before I can scroll away.

Or is this a bit and you already know and your just idek what yall are doing honestly. Maybe y'all don't realize that Marvel almost always releases their movies and shows in timeline order? Hell, they released The Defenders and The defenders personal shows/movies with it right after s2 so that s3 made sense. And The Punisher after that so that Frank got more of a story line; and we got more on Frank and Karens relationship so that in DDBA we weren't confused about it. So you can't watch S-BND without watching DDBA or The Punisher, which was released before it with a character in both shows, and expect to understand the character.

I do believe Matt would've been amazing in the movie. He could've helped train Peter's senses or at least offer advice. I'd love to see Siperman, The Punisher, and DareDevil being chaotic as fuck in movie. Have y'all read the fics where Matt and Frank are his parents/parental figures? Theyre amazing! And the ones with just Frank and Peter or just Matt and Peter drive me insane with how good they are!

I've gotten those videos or seen those posts every single day, multiple times a day, since before the movie even released and I want to know why some of you seem to be genuinely tweaking about it.

Ep 5.

I have no words for Logans actions in ep5. Do I understand it? Yes, do I agree? No and I don't support it either. What he did was fucked up and its exactly what people do to him which is why I hate the way he's treated.

Logan is used to people only wanting him around because he's useful. The idea of adimantiam(idk how its spelled) was brought to him, in the movies at least, as a way to make him stronger. Logan does whatever he can to be useful because he's used to people leaving when he's not. Logan using and lying to everyone that episode to make sure he stayed useful was fucked up; and either he didnt understand that because people do it to him or he did and didn't care about anyone other than Morph. He did finally understands it when Morph called him out on it at the end and Logan obviously regrets it or at least involving Morph. Morph has been nothing but kind to him. They have a strong bond, strong enough that Logan regrets his actions in ep5 when he wouldn't for anyone else. Do I think Logan's sole goal going there was to get his claws back? No, I do genuinely believe he was also going to shut down that base even if it was just an 'added bonus' to his mission.

Ep 8.

Remy's back! I was so happy when I figured it out during Rogue's nightmare.

I didn't expect him to be possessed though, fucking Apocalypse. The dude has to be evil incarnate, I genuinely don't get him even with his reasonings.

Back to Remy and Rogue, does this mean the guy Rogue was about to marry was Apocalypse or like a mix of both? Did Apocalypse gain Gambits memories and become part of him as a whole? Will he end up being in love with Rogue too if they end up sharing memories even after they split?

They did not kill him in the first episode. It was a dream. Matts having a nightmare, thats all. Foggys still alive, safe in his bed. They definitely didn't kill him in the first goddamn episode within the first 15 fucking minutes. Marvel wouldn't do that to us. Marvel's amazing and never hurts/traumatizes their viewers with their shows. Marvel's wonderful and always does things that make their viewers happy.

The apologies, forgiveness, sacrifice, and honestly everything was beautiful.

I'm glad Matt, Foggy and Karen are back together. Though it will take some time for trust to come back all together. It seems Foggy has decided to fully stick with Matt like he promised. Even when Matt went to kill Fisk; Foggy only stopped Matt because it would've ruined Matt in the long run. I'm glad the trio is back together, they deserve happiness after everything.

I have mixed feelings for Dex and the ship of Dex/Matt.

Dex's character is very well written and displayed for what he's meant to represent and portray. He needs lots of help, and someone who specializes in anger management and BPD. I'd say solitary for a while, get him used to living without others or someone to guide him. He'd have ended up a slightly less villainous character if he had someone good to guide him, but the anger issues and BPD would still be a big thing he'd have to work through. I don't want to say he's got a form of psychosis because his bursts of 'insanity' fall under the BPD category instead; and no it's not BP because his 'insanity' moments aren't random, their's a very obvious pattern to them. The dudes also going to have lots of physical issues after that last episode, yikes.

The ship between him and Matt is toxic as fuck on both sides, but I'm sure that's why people ship it. Matt craves validation and punishment, Dex also craves validation but he likes to give out punishment when he feels someone deserves it. That punishment just happens to be death in most cases. The both get something they 'require' out of being together but in no way is that ship healthy or sane. There's a small chance Matt would be a 'north star' for Dex, but I don't think it'd work unless Dex gained a very strong desire to please Matt. I do understand why its a ship, but imma stay away from it. DexMatt shippers, y'all have fun with those two trauma ducks.

Matt is my favorite character in DD, but man has he fucked up these last two seasons. I'm glad he's turning around now and that he's trying to make things right. He needs help, like Dex does. A therapist would be a good start, but a doctor and some x-rays would be nice too.

If Matt doesn't have some kind of enhanced skeletal/bone structure, he should be in a wheelchair or something. A building fell ontop of him, he's had multiple broken and re-broken bones, he's been shot numerous times and he's had plenty of concussions and likely skull fractures. He's got to have constant body aches, phantom pains, migraines, and irritated scar tissue that would be hell on his senses. The bones he's had broken repeatedly shouldn't be as functional as the are. His nose should be permanently crooked, his hands should shake constantly, his legs shouldn't be able to hold his weight for hours on end even with training and exercise. His ribs had to have been broken, cracked, or snapped after The Defenders, so he'd have trouble breathing too.

His mind is fucked 6 ways to Sunday. He's got anger issues, a form of psychosis because he's hallunating people talking to him, abandonment issues, ptsd likely severe, depression likely major, and his self-sabotage is a either: depression, anxiety, or a form of a personality disorder. It could even be a mix of all of them. I haven't dug deeper into that to piece it together yet, but I will eventually. He's also autistic; maybe not high on the spectrums but he's on it.

Karen's backstory was sad as fuck. I honestly don't have much to say. She got trauma, daddy issues, anxiety, and survivors guilt due to what happened with Ben and Kevin. She's also strong willed, steady, and will do whatever she can to get the truth out. I wish she would look out for herself more then she does when it comes to getting things out in the open, she seems to lose every self persevation skill/sense when it comes to revealing the truth. She cares a lot for those close to her and does a lot for them even after they've hurt her, but it does bite her in the ass occasionally. I adore her, she's awesome and badass.

Foggy's a funny character, but not 'haha' funny. He's positive, outgoing, and optimistic even after everything. Man's the sunshine character of the show. We've seen his family and how he interacts with them, but we haven't seen his actual backstory from before Matt and I doubt we will. He seems to rely heavily on the relationships he has with Marcy, Matt and Karen. I'd say all relationships but I don't think that's true after his interactions with his family. Yes he loves them, but he's also far more firm when it came down to it. He's a family guy, but he doesn't rely heavily on those relationships or persue them like he does with Matt, Marcy and Karen. I don't have much else to say about Foggy. He's likely got some dark secret, but as of now he's a ray of sunshine who sees the good in things and can be very understanding when he wants to be.

I'm not gonna touch on Frank, much. He's my 3rd favorite marvel character, after Tony and Matt. But he's got so many mental issues that I don't want to keep digging into, but I will just not in this post. He's like Matt in regards to the physical and bodily issues. Aches, irritated scar tissue, phantom pains, and broken bones affecting him. His nose, hands, back, neck, and arms would be affected the most, mostly aches for his neck and hands. I think he might be partially deaf due to his guns and his time in the army. He'd likely have reoccurring migraines too, but that's all I'm gonna say on him or this post is going to triple in size.

All in all, amazing show! I'll admit I got very lost and confused watching the characters and their development, more so then I usually do with shows, but season 3 tied it all together nicely.

I had people spoil DDBA for me and I wish they hadn't. Although, I called it when I started season 1. So I'm not surprised, just devastated. I don't want to watch it because of the spoilers, but I will watch it, and I will cry, and be even more confused by all of their actions throughout the show.

It's wild to me that he was livid with Matt to the point of ending their relationship and law firm, because Matt hid the fact the was a vigilante with hightened sense? I get they were friends for over 10 years and it must've stung, but that entire episode Foggy was snapping at him, drilling him, and even accused him of shooting the cops and blowing up buildings. Not to mention Foggys respons when Matt said he'd gone to kill Fisk.

Now he's over here reassuring Karen, talking her through it and what not. Like Foggy, I get that you have regrets and everything with everything thats happened between you and Matt; and that it's likely caused you to switch your perspective, but you need to apologize to Matt cuz wtf.

Also, Matts been a dick this season. The self-sabotage is through the roof.

Side note, Ep6 is wild. Currently watching it as I write this.

Good on Karen for telling Matt to fuck off. Proud of Foggy and pissed at him for 'not bailing on Matt like everyone else has' because thats literally all Foggys done since s1 ep10.

Confused on the line, 'Matt turns himself into the fbi'. At first I thought they meant as DD but they want him to give them everything he has in Fisk but if he does that, it raises questions that Matt'll have to answer and likely get him outed as DD. That in turn lands him in prison with everyone he's put in there, both as a lawyer and as DD. How are they okay with that? They're pissed at Matt for using them but they're going to turn around and do the same thing?

Now, Foggy and Karen have every right to be pissed as hell with Matt after s2 and The Defenders. I honestly couldnt blame them if they just walked away permanently, but they're not. They keep teetering on the edge of being in and out of his life, even before season 3, before the defenders, and before the second half of season 2.

I have so many mixed feelings for everything thats happened to Matt. He's doing what he was conditioned to do and I can't blame him for it, its 100% not okay, but I can't blame him for doing what was quite littlerally beaten into him. The people in his life keep leaving and comming back like nothing happened and its just fucking him up more.

I can't blame Karen or Foggy for it in seasons 2 or 3. I can blame Frank, Electra, and Stick though and I 100% blaming them for Matts excessive self-sabotage in s3.

Am I going crazy? I might be losing it (ーー;

I feel like Scotts gotten this obsessive need for controll and order now, more so then in the other show. Likely due to losing Charles.

Also, what's with this show and giving the female characters male lovers who are 15+ years older then them? Rogue and Storm, like come on man! I get the Forge is only like 12 years older then Storm but still. I feel like it's weird.

Logan seems to be treated alright, aside from Jean playing him and the occasional comment or like in episode 1 where Jubilee shoots fireworks at him cuz he scared Roberto. He does still get used a bit tho so ( ￣-￣)

Where's Jubilee's love for Logan? In the 1992 version she adored him in the later seasons and now she just seems indifferent to him.

Morph, Beast and Kurt are adorable as usual. They seem to have been the only three characters to have stayed the same.

Logan seems less angry and more mellowed out. Likely because they lost the professor and he doesnt want to piss anyone off. What if Logan's on good behavior because hes sacred of getting kicked off the team? Scott can do that now.

Jean's story line in this show is wack honestly. Not in a 'this doesnt make sense' but a 'how and why' if you know what I mean. Though, she seems closer to movie Jean then 1992 Jean. It was also painfully obvious to me that Madelyne only loved Scott while Jean also 'loved' Logan. Cable is awesome, love him.

Charles and Erik are something I don't wanna touch ever. Honestly, they need to work their shit out individually and with eachtoher cuz those to old ass men are weird af. Admit ur gay and kiss already (￢_￢)

They killed Remy. The 2nd best character. I wated to throw something. What do you mean he died before he could properly kiss his girl!? Said girl who left him for an old ass man, but he was waiting for her even after that ( ´∀`) and then they killed him.

I have a love/hate realized with Logans hair in s2 cuz why is it so luscious?? Mans got me jealous.

I despise Magneto for doing that to Logan but at the same time, now Logan can't die from the poisoning? Like, yay! but how fucking dare you. It almost killed him too! Poor Morph turning into Jean just to keep Logan alive. Poor man needs to smack Logan and make him realize how good Morph is to him and how shit Jean is to him.

Like, Matt, I know you're traumatized and you just want to help; but you're destroying your life for an abuser who's manipulating you (ーー;

Go back to Foggy and Karen, kick that girl out of ur life and never look back. Actually, can Foggy or Karen kick her out of his life? Like, help your friend/boyfriend get his shit together cuz he needs you two.
