What’s hilarious about this is that they didn’t even really have an ending planned for this scene. They took it to the network censor person and said there’s going to be a lot of guns and blood is this ok? And she was like hmmm…well could the whole thing be about gun safety? And Dan was like ok sure, because it wasn’t about anything 10 minutes ago. 

The only way I see this as potentially a helpful thing, is for people who medically can’t tolerate a mask—breathing problems or mental health issues—but who are shamed into wearing one anyway by people who don’t care.

If you describe your situation as “being shamed into wearing a mask” you 100% have way bigger issues than the mask itself

As someone that has asthma and recently had to go to the hospital for it, if you use the excuse of “I can’t breathe with a mask” I will personally sew a mask onto your face with a needle and thread.

If you cannot wear a mask then stay home. Period.
