Title: Fine I’ll hold my breath / til i forget it’s complicated Author: Teatrolley Rating: NC-17 (This fic is unrated at AO3 so that’d be a personal rating) Word Count: 10,800 Approx.   Summary: Harry and Draco have quite a lot of sex, and Harry thinks it’s more complicated than it actually is. In which Draco is close friends with Hermione (they work together) and starts hanging out a LOT in hers and Harry’s flat. Which, you know, doesn’t make Harry happy at all. Until they start shagging that is. Then Draco hanging out in their place is OK. :D But really, this story is lovely. It’s a bit about Harry not knowing what to do with his life, about starting this thing with Draco and not knowing what he wants from it, and a bit about finding happiness. :)

Title: The Years Before Love Author: lomonaaeren   Rating: R Word Count: 13,000 Approx.   Summary: Harry didn’t ever dream he could have a family beyond the Weasleys. But then, at one point he didn’t dream he could have a family beyond the Dursleys, either. He tries not to think too much about those years, but in a way, they’ve made him what he was and given him what he has now. This story is so sweet and gentle. It’s about Harry being a bit adrift after the war and being sort of adopted by Andromeda, unofficially, moving in with her and Teddy and just finding his place in life, what he wants to be. Finding a family. And of course, that family eventually includes Narcissa and Draco who visit often.  Harry and Draco’s interactions are so sweet, their friendship and relationship so lovely paced. This definitely a feel-good story. :)

There’s an article in the Prophet that Harry’s ex gave and made him look like a total pervert. Which made Draco very interested in settling his life-debt and offer his, well, his wiliness for Harry’s perversions. :D He pretends he’s very experienced, but, well, he’s not. ;) The Motivational Benefits of Sleazy Men by fantasyfiend09 (NC-17, 16K)Summary: Draco was resigned to being groped until his creepy co-worker was named his Department Head. Blaise assured him he needed a powerful lover to protect him. Draco agrees, just not the way Blaise wanted him to.My notes: This fic is delightful. Draco’s being harassed at the Ministry (not that that’s funny D:) but he needs protection from stray hands, and Harry’s the man to do it. He’s both clueless and manipulate, and it’s rather brilliant. It’s AU after HBP, and it’s absolutely amazing. The way Harry’s instinct bound him to protect Draco during the war, the way they try to stay away, unaware of the bond he created with Draco. Oh, just fantastic. A Tiny Little Full-blown Obsession by dirty_darella (NC-17, 14,4K)Summary: One peak of Malfoy in the Quidditch showers and Harry becomes a tad enamored. Hermione is no help at all.My notes: Hogwarts!Era fic, and wonderful. But then: “I can change that,” said Harry Potter.My notes: This was written for an adaptations fest from Queer As Folk. Harry is a big mess in this fic, and he takes his time to get his act together. And Draco’s there, god, Draco’s watching him and loving him and wanting him. Lord, this fic is amazing, hot and super emotional. If you haven’t read it, you’re in for a ride. Ligabus Filium by Tessa Crowley (NC-1, 41,5K)Summary: It should be careful, deliberate, but it isn’t. Like every other part of their relationship, it happens gradually and then all at once, before they even realize it. And when the little blue threads bind them together, there’s no going back.My notes: Ohhh, delicious virgin!Draco and Harry wants to ruin him. And he does. And it’s gorgeous, because he falls in love. But it all starts when Draco is going to invest in Blaise’s BDSM Club where Harry goes.                        

Title: Student Digs Author:  lokifan   Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 4,100 Approx.   Summary: Harry’s living in *student accommodation*. Just the phrase makes Draco shudder. Content/Warning(s): Light Dom/sub, consensual Kink, spanking Such a delicious story! Draco is being terribly snobbish about Harry’s living conditions. But in the best way, he’s funny and witty, and though Harry seems to think so as well, he’s going to teach Draco a ~lesson. One that Draco’s very much looking forward to! It’s sexy and playful and super hot. 

Title: Arctic Fox Author:  scrtkpr   Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 28,000 Approx.   Summary: “Isn’t that Draco Malfoy? He keeps looking at you, Harry.” Sometimes I think I’m the last person to read a story. :D I had this on my to-read folder for ages and finally a darling anon reminded me of it and I went for it. What a treat! Harry and Draco (and Ron) are all in Auror training, and both Harry and Ron are very suspicious about Draco being there at all. Eventually though they become less suspicious and more accepting. Specially after Draco starts helping George with potions at the Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. Draco is sort of having a hard time all around, but Harry himself is also having a hard time, particularly in his relationship with Ginny, which is on hold. The slow developing of Harry and Draco’s friendship is wonderful, also the way Harry realises where his preferences truly are, and how Draco accepts he might be trying to become an Auror for the wrong reasons, how they play such an important part in this, in each other’s discoveries and acceptances is really lovely. 

Title: Never Feel the Burning Light Author: @carpemermaidtales Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 48,000 Approx.   Summary: When it falls to Draco to restore his family name to its former glory the road ahead of him is long, but with Harry Potter’s help and a plan that is just this side of ridiculous he just might succeed at accomplishing his goals and getting what he wants. What neither of them plan on is falling in love along the way. This fic, oh my god, it’s epic! It was written for the trope Pretend Couple, and man, pretend dating they do! It starts when Harry runs into Draco in Diagon Alley and sees first-hand Draco getting hexed and badly treated in this post-war world. They end up having drinks together at the Leaky and eventually they agree to have lunch together. One time becomes two and so on, until they are somewhat friendly. Draco’s been having a hard time, he’s been trying to get into the Healer programme at St. Mungo’s without success, he can’t even get a job, and he has the brilliant idea that if he’s seen dating Harry his stance in the Wizarding World would improve, so he asks Harry if he’d pretend to go out with him on a few dates. At first Harry isn’t sure if this idea is going to work at all, but give in and they start “dating” only it completely escalates when the pretend dating doesn’t make any difference in helping Draco how the public sees him. So then they don’t only pretend to date, they pretend to move in together and actually—actually I don’t think I should say more because you ought to read it. It’s so much fun, seeing them “pretending” while all the time it’s obvious that their feelings for each other are genuine, there’s sexual tension and smitten!Harry and, it’s wonderful. 

Title: I’ve Waited Here for You (Everlong) Author: amorette Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 23,400 Approx.   Summary: Ever since Ginny started dating Blaise, Harry has had to see a lot of Blaise’s friends as well… and with them comes Malfoy. Everyone’s too focused on rebuilding the world after the war to notice that Malfoy is still a dick, so they don’t seem to mind letting him into their little group. But Harry remembers everything, and when he’s not having nightmares from the war or training to become an Auror, he is doing his best not to let himself become friends with Draco Malfoy. And friends with benefits is not actually friends… is it? This story is so good, oh my god, it’s ridiculously good. It’s written for the trope Friends with Benefits, but it starts with Harry being irritated about all things Malfoy. You see, Ginny started dating Blaise, and with Blaise came his Slytherin friends and how Harry has to deal with Malfoy on regular basis. And he hates it. He hates that everybody likes Draco and he hates that Draco seems to be perfectly polite and hug people and kiss people on their cheeks when he greets them, everybody but Harry. Yeah, it’s pretty annoying. ;):D So Harry drinks, to cope with all that Malfoyness. And then this one night Harry’s too drunk to Apparate on his own so Draco helps him and one thing leads to another and they sleep together. Yes, in that way, but also literally. ^^ And that’s how the whole ‘Friends with Benefits" thing started. But you know what, it’s so much more than that. There’s so much snark and then there’s bickering and then flirting and all the UST in the world. And they are amazing and sexy, god, those sex scenes, delicious, utterly. It’s fantastic, this fic, read it and see. You’ll see!

Title: Muggle ‘Drug Store Items’ Author: loveglowsinthedark Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 4,100 Approx.   Summary: Malfoy’s interest is caught by a certain Muggle drug store item. (Hint: Flavoured Condoms) This is hilarious. Harry drags Draco to a Muggle drug store where he, Draco, discovers the joy of condoms. He finds out they are flavoured and it’s so funny what with Harry about to have an aneurism right there on the contraception aisle. And naturally once he realised Harry’s a bit mortified about the whole thing, he becomes downright impossible in the very best way. So much fun, this fic. :D

Title: Luckiest Fucking Size Queen Alive Author: loveglowsinthedark Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 6,100 Summary: Potter escorts me home, presses me into my front door and kisses me with a ferocity that’s exhilarating. // And then Potter asks me, in a growl that makes my cock throw a wet tantrum in my pants, how many more dates I would deem mandatory before I let him fuck me. // I drag Potter to bed. In case the title doesn’t completely give it away, this fic has Hung!Harry. :D And Draco’s equally proportional obsession with Harry, and Harry’s, um, person. Seriously though, Draco’s POV as he goes on and on (and on!) about Harry is hilarious, it’s sexy (funny and sexy!) and then the fic is incredibly sweet too. Ohh, and Harry is SUPER charming. :D

Title: Strange Bedfellows Author: ravenclawsquill  Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 30,000 Approx.   Summary: When Harry encounters a frail and fidgety Draco Malfoy at the Ministry, he just knows something is wrong and he’s determined to get to the bottom of it. A story about Deadly Nightshade, crippling insomnia, excellent wine … and finding what you need in the strangest of circumstances. Content/Warning(s): Potions addiction There’s so much lovely hurt/comfort in this fic. It starts when Draco summons Harry to his office for a work-related interview (Draco’s working on a reform of Wizengamot Hearing procedures) and he needed to interview Harry about his hearing back from Fifth Year. Anyway, Harry is super curious about what Draco’s been up to but once he sees Draco he realises there’s something wrong with him. Days pass without hearing from Draco again so he takes a chance and goes to see him again, only to find him unconscious, and after taking him to St Mungo’s, learning he had an unintentional overdose of Dreamless Sleep Potion. He’s surprised by how worried he is, how much he cares, and from then on, he’s there for Draco every step of the way. There’s a lot of emphasis on the comfort here, to the point that Draco practically moves in with Harry. And of course, eventually realising their feelings for reach other. Lovely. :)

Title: The Darkness Before the Dawn Author: renrenren3   Rating: NC 17 Word Count: 55,600 Approx.   Summary: A mysterious creature is loose in London, stalking and killing people. Auror Harry Potter requests the help of a liaison from the Beast Division and gets saddled with Draco Malfoy. Will they be able to stop the creature before it claims more lives? Content/Warning(s): brief descriptions of dead bodies This fic is just so exciting. It’s a case!fic, and the plot is super! As the summary says, it starts when Harry requests helps from the Beast Division because there’s been attacks in London and it’s clearly a creature, and Malfoy is the liaison they sent. And oh my god, they do not get along at all, but Draco proves to be super efficient and even though he’s a pain in Harry’s bum he’s extremely helpful. However, some people at the ministry (the Head of Draco’s department among many) are still very prejudiced, and soon start to wonder if maybe Draco’s being so efficient because he’s hiding something. Harry knows it’s not the case, he’s seen Draco’s work and though it’s not easy working with him, he trusts him. Along the way, well, there’s attraction (very nice slow-build), which they fight and even ignore, the case becomes more complicated what with people suspecting Draco. It’s really, really interesting and exciting, awesome characterisations of Harry (he’s such a great Auror) and Draco (smart, efficient Draco!). :)
