Im your future husband - bottlenosesurfer
Whatever Joscelyn had expected to come out of the other young man’s—the other shifter’s—mouth as the Ragdoll sat near the window at Starbucks, that wasn’t it. He stared blankly for a moment, big blue eyes ever so big and ever so surprised. Maybe Joss had expected a pick-up line, or some light flirtation. Maybe even ‘mind if I sit here?’ But ‘I’m your future husband’?
"Well, I have to give my family points for not trying to pair me up with a woman," he murmured before his freckles disappeared in a fierce blush. "S-Sorry, not that I really…have anything against women…" The cat laughed sheepishly as he rose to his feet and extended his hand. "When I don’t have my foot in my mouth, I’m Joscelyn Cavanaugh, as you probably know."
"Kaleb Merton, but I go by Kai." He grasped the pale mans hand, giving it a firm squeeze. "Mind if I sit down?" The surfer's body language spoke of an easygoing lifestyle, but the muscles cording in his arms said differently, of hard work and exercise.
"Don't worry, when this was set up, I was a girl, but since then I had my operation and met my pod, which kinda.. cemented things." He slid into the booth, regardless of Joscelyn's answer.
