Haha!! Thanks so much but it's funny that you sent this at the end of December because all that stuff I post about is the reason It took so long for me to see this! I haven't been consistently logged in here for ages because it was such a drain on my mental health, and I'm still not here much, but God damn am I happy that someone found solace in my blog.

I honestly logged back on almost ready to save all the posts I was proud of before deleting my account. I assumed it's ranty nature wasn't pleasant to sift through, no matter how many good points I did or did not make. I still might go back and make sure I didn't post anything I regret, but the 30+ notifications of likes and reblogs and shit was so gratifying to return to.

You're supposed to tease someone about how sensitive they are and how much they like to laugh in a positive way! Point out how sweet and lovable it makes them, don't look at them and tell them "oh you LIKE this? Why don't you admit it? No matter, I like how you beg for it to stop."

That's how it comes off: rapey and disturbing. The same vibe I get when people refer to "tickle torture" casually, as if that's what it should be called or should feel like.

This shit is so normalized that anyone who walks in here gets groomed into believing it's how ticklers should talk to lees, and that denying your love for the very thing you're here for is a good thing. I know because it almost happened to me as a child and I know multiple people who had it happen to them at the same time, so yes, groomed is the right word. Don't tell me your fucking rape fetishism is something I share because I like to see people and characters laugh through physical touch. Intense or not, it doesn't matter. Tickling can be intense and laughter can be hysterical but YOU are the one that makes it creepy.

Why am I the only person that finds issue with all the subtle and not subtle language this community uses, sfw or not, towards its own people? I will never understand, and it's why I haven't posted in a while, engaging with this community is a constant gamble with my mental health because every time I see an art piece or post with this kind of mentality (which is most of them) it can fuck up my day.

Seriously, I saw a story and accompanying fan art that not only was written and drawn as non-consensual and torturous on purpose (which is normalization that I do not support in the slightest), but it was based on a real person. That’s torture porn you are creating of a real fucking human being that exists and likely does not want anything to do with tickling, especially against his will! I don’t care if it’s “”just”” fiction, that’s a living person you depicted in that situation!
