By any chance, have you ever been diagnosed with autism? From personal experience, I know for a fact that obsessions like this one are common in people with autism.
This isn't actually an obsession. I studied Russia in school.

Tsarevich Alexei of Russia; C. 1909.
this is the most arkady picture in existence
If Anastasia and Alexei are not buried with the rest of the family, then where are they?Greetings from Spain, the motherland of Eugénie de Montijo :)
I’m so sorry but I don’t know! When they were recovered in 2007, they sat for a long time in a morgue/ science facility in Ekaterinburg. Because there was so little remains left, it took them quite a long time to establish an identification (which included the dismissal of Anna Anderson’s claims through DNA testing). The last bit of information I had heard was that in 2011 they had moved the remains from Ekaterinburg to Moscow. It’s a disgrace that the entire IF’s remains have not been formally recognise, and even more so that Anastasia (or Maria, whomever one thinks it is) and Alexei are not at rest with their parents and siblings. But Russia has been going through an absolute train wreck of a decade, Putin probably doesn’t have the brain capacity to think of it at the moment. One can only hope that perhaps the Church and RFA will bury them on the centenary in 2018.

do u think vladimir is in love with dima ? do they talk about love and sex or only politics ?
as a disclosure i suppose i should say that there are many different types of love and that each culture had its own unique social habits.
but let me say that as an american i’ve never once looked at my own best friend of nearly 15 years like this:
we’ve also never shared clothes or bought matching/complimenting outfits. i’ve done that with my sister and different roommates (so in other words ppl i live with) but never a friend.
i’ve also never moved or changed jobs to be with any of my friends.
BUT MAYBE THAT’S JUST AMERICANS
Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia on a carriage ride with their nannies: 1902.

My favorite.
Good stuff. And after having it I still cant remember how I got from their couch to my house and what ma have happened in between all that.
Right? Hahahaha
volodin and peskov in the background
i’ve been staring at this picture for hours trying to figure out his eyes. i can’t figure out what his eyes are saying.
the deep purple under his eyes makes me think ‘tired’ but it’s not that. there’s a hint of boredom. so maybe a melancholy despair? or maybe i’m looking too deep and take a step back. maybe they’re just dead, blank, emotionless pits.
Why would they be anything else?

“What ever has happened to the Germany of my childhood? I have such happy and poetic memories of my early years at Darmstadt and the good friends I had there. But on my later visits, Germany seemed to me a changed country - a country I did not know and had never known." - Empress Alexandra Feodorovna
