goodbye to way the you looked at me before, like i was your trusted friend, and equal, and confidant. boris betrayed theo in only the way boris could know how -- by stealing the painting. because boris is the only one theo would ever tell about that, his deepest and darkest secret. only boris would be worthy to know what theo did, even drunk, even glue-sniffing, acid-dropping high. only boris. and boris knows it.

Then Theo blurts out a few things that make Boris flustered and he shoves Theo away and Theo is oblivious as always.
