I was feeling unhappy with how human his original design looked so I explored a less mammalian version

Xybil is from a species that are a splice of insects and reptiles. The unplated parts of their bodies are covered in soft scales.

They technically have both male and female characteristics, and therefore don’t have gendered pronouns like we do, but while Xybil was learning different Earth languages he chose to use he/him pronouns because he liked how they sounded.

He’s also humanity’s BIGGEST superfan. As the biologist of his crew, he grew a special interest for humans. Mayybe too much of an interest though… when his project suddenly was thrown under fire he jumped ship and fled to Earth, very quickly falling for a human man. He’s very much so considered a monster lover in the eyes of the rest of his kind, he’s weird and proud about it.

The Shimmering City- the capital of the MornWing kingdom. It’s split into three tiered rings: Ring Trove is mostly residential for middle class citizens, Ring Carat is mostly shops and businesses, and Ring Splendor is for nobility, high end shops, and the monastery.

The Evening District- the first level of the underground MoonWing capital, this is mostly neighborhoods with a handful of smaller general shops. All of the eggs of the lower levels are brought to the hatchery tower, and all of the pupating MoonWings are kept in the pupation tower for safety.
