so why boots on kittens?
this is not a f@@t fetish blog! it's not about shoes, per se. being stepped on, or kissing or licking a shoe, is a pointed act of submission.
from a personal safety standpoint, being at someone's feet is a pretty indefensible position, completely vulnerable. it's as low to the ground/floor/dirt as possible. it's the human equivalent of rolling over and showing your soft underbelly. and then you add acknowledging someone's shoes to that, the thing that symbolizes that person being off the ground and protected from it, which is power.
and then you add to that kissing or licking a shoe, you're symbolically taking on their connection to the ground/floor/dirt, increasing their power and diminishing your own. plus the taboo of licking something dirty or gross. is it any wonder it has intense power?
