Interesting post title
This blog used to consist of hundreds of scans of books from my collection of vintage paperbacks. It was the product of time, money, and consideration. I shared it because I thought people would appreciate it. Thousands of people followed the blog and I received hundreds of thousands of favorites and reblogs.Β
I have been less engaged with this recently, and when I logged on to discover that more than a quarter of my content had been deleted due to the Adult Content Policy, my heart broke. The vast majority of this content is clearly allowed even under this stupid censorious policy, but for reasons unknown to me it was flagged and deleted anyway.Β
I went through the three stages of grief. I complained, then I considered deleting my blog, then I decided to replace every popular post with a picture of a dog taking a shit.
Itβs sad to destroy something that you spent so much time on, but at this point making it as difficult as possible for people to reblog my original content for Tumblrβs profit feels like the only reasonable course of action. Fuck everything about this bullshit site.
