My Thoughts -

I just finished reading the Heir Of Fire by Sarah J Maas and really left me wanting more of her books so I decided to pick up A Court Of Thorns And Roses . And really loved it , it was a fast paced, high fantasy and very gripping book .The fact that it was a retelling of The Beauty And The Beast got me very excited and I won’t be wrong if I say it is one of the best retelling’s I have ever read . Sarah perfectly intertwined the fairy tale and fantasy element of the book . Let’s talk characters .... shall we ?? Feyre is one of the most strong female protagonist I have ever read and I even noticed for a fact that Sarah creates female protagonists in all her books very powerful  . Feyre is a little stubborn and a little annoying at times yet she is amazingly sassy and very witty which adds a great element of fun in the book. As the book proceeds , we unravel a lot of hidden talents and feelings the Feyre has kept inside her. And it is astonishing to read a humans thoughts in a fae world . Tamlin is the most swoon worthy characters I have ever read . He is a gentle man , the fact that he gives Feyre her space and time and does whatever he can to make her feel comfortable . He is the kind of character that I believe anyone can fall for . However, even he has his own secrets and so does his court which we unravel along the book .

My Thoughts -

This was one of the first actual high fantasy books I have read and thoroughly enjoyed . I was introduced to this book through a friend who was reading it and I read the premise of the book and I was completely astonished , mainly by the thought of the book , I had never before read a book with such a strong female protagonist .

According to me ,Sarah J Maas is an amazing author . She managed to clearly bring out the essence of the plot without making it boring or slow I was very impressed by the writing style of the author, it made the story further more interesting . It was such a fast paced , adventurous and mysterious read .

I had absolutely no complains with the book . Every thing was on point - the thought, the plot and the execution . The female protagonist, Celaena Sardothien  was just as I imagined her to be - bad ass , quirky ,interesting and mysterious . As far as I could see , there is a very strong under lying theme that highlights the strength of a woman in this book. The other characters like the Crown Prince and the Captain Of Guards are very interesting characters with many underlying layer which are unraveled as the book proceeds .

My Thoughts-  

Going into this book I was a very excited, I had very high expectations form it because of all the hype on Youtube . I was really not disappointed, in fact I was blown away by the end . The story was so gripping and fast paced that I did not want to keep the book down . The book was so well written . I really enjoyed myself . There was drama , suspense , mystery and a lot of excitement . This book was a perfect blend of all emotions . I could really feel the emotion of the characters and all this was brought about by the amazing way through which the author portrayed her thoughts. One thing that I was really intrigued by was the way the author intertwined what was happening in different setting in the book and also that there were different chapters associated with different characters and written though their perspectives.     Cinder is a very proficient female protagonist . I really enjoyed reading the book through her perspective . When I read the book I thought as if I was with Cinder on her journey . I love the way how the author has presented Cinder's character to be very strong yet very soft in nature . I also like the way she handle's situations which are not so expected . To conclude I would say that the book is very interesting and has a lot layers in the terms of the plot accompanied by twists and turns . I would really recommend this book to all the people who are interested in Science- Fiction or Fantasy and even other vice because it is a very quick read. I hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I did .
