-robin thinks nancy will hate her and never want to talk to her again after she comes out but nancy is so nice, insists it doesn’t change anything, doesn’t care bc she’s never understood hating people for who they love. she teases robin abt tammy and robin feels like a million pound weight off her chest

-IN MY MIND regardless of if you ship ronance, jancy, stancy, all of the above, none of the above, i nancy is bisexual. do i have any solid solid in show evidence? no. but do i feel it in my heart and soul? yes. in my mind nancy liked barb but never had words or ways to acknowledge it. then she starts getting closer to robin and she’s like Ive Felt This Way Before

-i feel like one night at a sleepover theyre just talking and nancy kind of hesitantly asks robin how she knew she liked girls. robin senses its deeper than nancy wants to let on, but is honest, not pressuring, talking about the moment she knew, and telling nancy if she needs to talk about anything she’s there. nancy admits she’s kind of wondering if she’s like robin, and talks about what she feels (obv vague and not mentioning the robin part of it all) and robin helps her work out her feelings

-they love sleepovers. esp the 18 months when the byers are living with the wheelers, nancy loves all of them but eight people in one house is a Lot. so she’ll just sleep over at robins often and hang out with her. it’s like a home away from home

-nancy gets to have the girly sleepovers nancy hasn’t had since barb. magazines, music, painting nails, doing makeup and fashion shows, gossiping. it’s silly and mundane and a nice break from the end of the world

-in my mind robins bed is really cozy and nancy sleeps like a rock in it. that’s all

-i see so much night owl robin and morning person nancy and in my soul that just does not feel right. nancy will stay up until 4am working on something and not even realize it, then have to me dragged out of bed at 10am. robin is up bright and early buzzing and making pancakes

Given the Byers are still there, how do you figure Joyce (and maybe to an extent Jonathan) help minding Mike and Holly? And how do you think Nancy would feel about Jonathan still being there?

i am SO sorry for taking so long to answer this. it’s been in the back of my mind but i got busy, then got too anxious to answer an old ask, then got busy again, repeat cycle.

i feel like joyce would try to take as much weight as she can bear from nancy, but also making sure nancy knows she CAN lean on her and doesn’t have to deal with this alone. even with the break up, it’s clear it’s very amicable, and i’ve always had a soft spot for a joyce + nancy dynamic. joyce is understanding enough that whatever jancy has going on is their business, they’re still close so she doesn’t need to be bothered. i don’t see him being there being a huge issue, especially because she’s probably so frazzled she doesn’t have time to ponder if it’s awkward to still live with your ex in your broken family’s house after the world almost ended.

i feel like post s5 it’s impossible for claudia and sue to not know anything as well, so the wheelers are at the sinclairs a lot since they’re just down the street, and claudia is more than willing to help as well. all the moms are making sure nancy Has A Mom even if Her mom is out of commission.
