A picture in progress, before additions that will mask much of its distinguishing features

Started at a job 2 weeks ago, and while it is only 30 hours per week, it’s a bit heavy considering I haven’t worked a manufacturing job in 13 years. Consequently I’ve done very little painting. I put on some paint, and it’s dry before I have time to get back to it again. I forget what pigments I’ve used for certain passages. I haven’t ground any white lead because too much of it will dry off before I can use it. Everything is collecting dust. The spiders are moving back in. I’m a bit tired.
