Rather than Wilds' freaks, i tried going for Rise's mythology inspiration, namely the Kelpie! So a sea-horse-horse
"A terrifying ambush predator of the swamp's shallows, it curls up in an effort to come across as plant clusters, only to strike at anything that comes near. The many fins on its body aid it in swimming swiftly, but make it slower on land. Still, they add a lot of weight into its attacks, crushing prey effortlessly. It is an omnivore, and eating the toxic plants of the Grove allows it to release psychedelic pheromones through its head fins to disorient foes."
Now that the contest is over, here's my first entry for the #fakesterhunter2026 by @bonboro, Shajumo, the Cryptid Cave Wyvern, and the Saltcrust Canyon's Fanged Wyvern
Wanted to, in the style of Wilds, make an absolute F R E A K
"It spends most of its time in underground burrows, safe from the day's blazing sun. At night large colonies burst out in search of ore-eating bugs, digging tunnels in the giant rock formations. Excess minerals gather in the tentacle whiskers, making them glow and attract ample prey in the dark desert nights. The salt also gives these a corrosive edge in fights, either through lashes or sneezes."

The Ice Rink Wyvern
Element: Ice
Ailment: Frostblight
Weakness: Fire
A keystone species of large bird wyvern a bit shorter than a Seregios that, despite living in the Torrential Forest where much of the water is poison and many of the plants are as well, is pretty much intolerant to poison. This has forced it to develop a variety of unique adaptations and behaviors.
It eats leaves and fruits of the few non-poisonous plants it can find. Its ice sac simply stores ambient humidity, which it chills and releases by redirecting its warm blood elsewhere. Its unique feet allow for swimming, walking on slippery surfaces, and perching on branches. Its wings are finger-like, allowing it to more easily "sculpt" the clay it brings to its nest, and it has both a scoop for a tail and opposable thumbs to carry more building materials at once. Its tail and head are both sharp like an axe to cut trees. In addition, the spines on its back channel atmospheric moisture and rainfall directly into its mouth.
A diagram of a standard Han Ze-Ku nest. They clear out the ground and kill any poisonous vegetation in an area by freezing them with ice. Using their axe-like beak and tails, they hack down the mangrove and other trees, and use their tails to haul them over to their frozen patch of ground. At this point, they pile the tree trunks up and freeze them together bit by bit, lining the construct with impermeable clay and mud as needed to hold everything together. The end result is a massive bowl. When it rains, fresh, clean water collects in this bowl; and the Han Ze-Ku may freeze this water to prevent evaporation. This produces a unique localized ecosystem that depends on Han Ze-Ku to survive. Because this fresh, non-salty, clean water is so valuable, other animals may attempt to steal a drink. Han Ze-Ku have grown extremely aggressive and territorial as a result, and will typically attack in a gang of 2-3 (one to two adults as well as a subadult nest-helper is the typical structure), pelting the enemy with ice until it retreats.
Fightwise, its ice breath disperses similarly to Pukei's venom clouds (the telltale sign is its wings flushing red with blood), it has a grab that it can slam you into the ground with, and its tail is flattened horizontally with sharp edges, sort of like Glavenus; and so can be used to slash at a hunter. It can fold the edges of its tail upwards to hold dirt and toss it at you like a catapult, hack at you with its axe-like bill, or pound you with the tail like Paolumu. It also does the classic bird wyvern hops and charges, as well as screaming attacks, but it's not quite as wild as, say, Garuga. A lot of its attacks start off with notable tells, as it is not a predatory wyvern and prefers to intimidate.

This strange amphibian has adapt a physicalogy similiar to Pelagus Fanged Beast, It's foreleg develope a scale ridge that the Chatacabra use to accumulate sticky saliva that attatch debris onto it arm in order to enhance it attack.

Also about the cut characters...
- Dipper pines (Original Act IV - Out of depth)
He was cut because his story is kinda derivitive to the original story, his story is suppose to be about him discovered a forbidden truth and have to keep his family in the dark to protect them.
His power is a fear based power called "Paranoid", which allow he is able to teleport people or object away from him.
- Tiwa Pudpichya (Cut Act VII - Puppet string)
She is a protagonist from one of the comic i used to read as a kid, It's a old educational comic series call "La Flora Princess Academy" which is about the protagonist who enroll in a prestigious all girl school for influential and power woman in order to find her missing mother.
In the AU, she is suppose to be a antagonist who try to break down the system to gain total control of the world power through all the connection present in the school, but i end up cut her story because I can't justify any of her motivation when reference the original character, (and she is a really old relic from the first version of the AU that don't really fit the plot anyway).
But to be honest the concept of her power is the one I like the most, her power is called "Tinkerer" that can be activate onto any object that are commonly consent as "tools" to morph their properties or function (for example, she can make her enemy gun shoot out of the back of the barrel).
- Izuku Midoriya (Cut Act VIII - Mercy of oblivion)
The black figure is his power charge form, this version of the characters is change from a hero that believe in humanity capability for good to a nihilistic being who was confront the futility of the justice and heroism he once upheld and now see nonexistance as a mercy from pain of pointless struggle for fragile peace.
His power is "Nihilism" that allow him to break the fundemental rule of the concervation of mass and reduce any matter into nothing (He basically an edgy Shigaraki), the reason for his cut is because it was a product from my edgy nothing matter phase and kinda boring anyway.
