2017 “Haunted House” Halloween costume of our daughter! After a year of waiting, it finally happened!

The last sculpted pumpkin I made was 2 years ago (last year I was a bit preoccupied with a certain robot costume around Halloween) and so I couldn’t let this year’s Halloween past me by without sculpting at least one! And so I spent some quality time with an old friend! Happy Halloween! ;)

I love inking with Procreate and the Apple Pencil, they are a winning team!

"THE PLASTIC TIDE" Illustration done for a school to encourage parents to include re-usable cutlery, minimizing the school's staff handing out plastic forks and spoons.

“Waiting for Spring” Little whimsical sketch I did with the Ipad Pencil and Procreate. I wanted to emulate the feel of a blue Colorease pencil sketch from the analog world. ;)

HERE BE DRAGONS! Some design explorations for a personal project. I always wanted to make a dragon silicone puppet with mechanised eyes, hopefully this is a step in the right direction! Procreate and Jot touch PP.

Continuing with my Tudor studies, here's Tasha Tudor in Autumn. Painted in about 3 hours from reference as an exercise with brush textures. I wasen't aiming for something super slick, and I couldn't resist spending too much time on the figure.Procreate and Jot Touch PP. 

"Tudor Study II" Another practice piece from the same book, this one of Tasha Tudor herself (right) and some of her grandaughters I beleive. Tried to stay true to the nature of the clothing. As usual, Procreate and the Jot Touch PP.

“Tudor Study I” This is a quick painting I did for practice, about 2 hours of work. I used photo ref from the book “The life of Tasha Tudor”, an eccentric lady and illustrator who lived in her house the way things were in the 1800’s! Amazing woman and great artist. Oh yeah she loved Corgies…Procreate and Jot Touch PP.

Totally forgot to post this one here ; my review of Adonit’s amazing Jot Touch Pixelpoint! Oh yeah and 3 robots for the price of one, from sketch to finished painting!;P
