When Longarm reveals to be Shockwave and encounters Radio at her worst time and convinces her to come with him. He doesn’t kill her because he sees some interesting potential that could benefit the cons. (Ofc if she doesn’t accept his proposal then he can kill her lol )

And yeah she’s switching… after Prowl death and Core being killed, Radio starts to act up strangely, distant, cold. She often begins to dive in her own thoughts about the mean stuff Ratchet said to her (btw He didn’t mean it, peepaw is just grumpy lol ) and the things Core, Shockwave and Megatron said to her and believing maybe the Decepticon cause was always the right choice… and think Core was right all along back when they were still friends.
