So I think Movos was one of those people who didn't think that art had to be in the service of politics, and what he and the underground entertainment crowd were looking for was artistic independence and liberation, and what he said at the ceremony was:

"We are free individuals... I am free, my thoughts are my own, and I am sure that none of you present here are callous in heart, even when in ordinary life you have to submit to unreasonable control. We are creating, funded not by any political power, not by the Senate or the Continuing Committee, not by the secret police or various official departments, yet by our own willingness and passion.
