He was born out of wedlock, his father is Song Minho an important Ceo of a luxury hotel chain and a woman who was too beautiful and too naive who believed in his lies and games.

So they met when she started working on the main hotel in Seoul and she fell for his tricks while he fell for her beauty and BAAM! little Song jaehyun is on the way.

His father recognized him and took him and his mother to live on his home with his wife and family...terrible idea. 

As a little boy he was pushed around by  the woman he had to call mother as well due to his father. It was clear that no one wanted him and his mom there yet he still tried his best to be a good son (to his father and his wife) and a good brother yet it only made it worse for him and his mother Yet when he wanted to leave with her, they couldn’t bc he was still underage and couldn’t leave since he was registered as his and his wife’s son.  (even when he was older he said and did anything to keep them there)

So he stopped trying and started rebeling. To the rest of the world he seems like a careless boy, ready to ruin anything from his father that lands on his hands as his way to show how much he hates carrying the same last name as them. People started spreading rumors about him and he never corrected them, instead tried to make it as if they were true. Pushing his father to the limit until he let him have his way until he needed him as his heir if he couldn’t have a son.

Sent them to daegu to live a silent life. That was all that Jaehyun wanted for him and his mom. 

Though he used that mask of a careless rude man for so long he doesn’t know how to be without it. unless he is by his mom’s side.
