Image source– Greenwich Time Notre Dame is attached with countless people’s sentiments. Almost all of them reckon this church as a way to connect with God. For them, seeing the church tear down to flames is similar to the despairing event of what happened to World Trade Center in 2001. Some people identify themselves through this church by recalling their presence near or around it, in their childhood or adulthood. The announcement done by French President Emmanuel Macron in regards to rebuilding this church is ecstatic; accompanied by marking the beginning of a national donation for the same is jubilant. It will not be the same church after it is rebuilt, only for the reason that heritage structures have the ability to woo people and activate sense of sight, hearing smell, touch. It will also bring in a lot of elements from 21st-century to it now, just as the church has had elements from the 12th, 13th, 14th and 19th centuries previously.

Do you have to be in it to understand it?

Do you really need to have a sister to know about the relationship that sisters share?

There are no right or wrong answers to these questions and so I proceed with my own thoughts— best friend or cousin sister cannot replace the bond that you share with a person that came from the same womb as yours. It’s that simple. Call it soul connection or inherent qualities.

Commute life described in one frame without the use of living subjects.

I have always considered shadows to be a form of soul; outer soul. While shadows in general, create a sense of mystery.

Not to forget that inanimate objects creating shadows is even more baffling if we look at it as a form of soul representation.
