Just remember Boilermaker fans: Purdue in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 lost their best player in injury. The first time just a month before the tournament, and Purdue went on to lose to eventual national champions Duke. The second time was before the start of the 2010-2011 season, and Purdue lost in the Round of 32 to VCU, who went onto the Final Four. Purdue didn't make Sweet 16 rings, make a trophy case, or claim the program was "back". After JaJuan and E'Twaun graduated, IU fans started talking shit and mocking Purdue for only being able to reach the Sweet 16 with what they claimed was our best class ever. In contrast, IU, who has been fully healthy the past two seasons, was preseason #1, has the preseason National Player of the Year, has 2 of the final 8 Naismith Award finalists, was ranked #1 for the majority of the season, has experience, great chemistry, slashers, and shooters, has managed to get just as far in the tournament as Purdue did. IU is a program that prides itself on "banners", the most recent of which was won before the Berlin Wall was torn down. So when IU fans come out of hiding over the next week or so, just remind them that IU SUCKS!

"BUT, as the crowd thinned, Crean decided they still wanted to cut down the nets. In a sad display of what modern sports have become...and a stark contrast to the Bobby Knight way (in his house, no less), a few hundred people clapped in a half-assed manner as Crean added another trophy to his small-time trophy case.
These nets should fit nicely go along side the Sweet 16 rings from last year.
Last night's post-game stupidity in Ass. Hall is why the "IU Sucks" chant by the Paint Crew makes so much sense, even when IU is good at basketball."
In case any of you need more incentive to hate IU, here's Cody Zeller on the possession  after he intentionally hit Nix in the groin.
But, banners.
Rivalry Week
At Purdue, it’s called Rivalry Week. At IU, it’s called Fuck Purdue Week. But please, continue to tell Boilermaker fans and students that we have “little brother syndrome” and are “obsessed” with that community college to the south. In the mean time, enjoy these, since it is rivalry week after all.
BTFU and POTFH!
