Last week in meditation I received this message. It wasn't just for me; it was for all of us. Prior to it's arrival, the present moment had a sobering familiarity to what I felt and experienced eight years ago during awakening. The same, but different this time. Like deja vu on an energetic level vs. a memory level. Humanity as a whole is coming home to ourselves. We're shifting, elevating, releasing and expanding simultaneously. We need to be mindful that we're all at different phases on this journey to ourselves. When my journey first started I was angry, bitter and so lost. These emotions were projected out to others because at that point I couldn't manifest those emotions into a learning or expansive experience. As you go about your day try not to judge others for their fear or anger or bitterness. Neither of you are at the same phase of the journey to yourself. Maybe theirs just started and they are fearful of this new energy. Maybe they have yet to become mindful of the power of themselves through mindfulness. Instead ask yourself, 'How can I be of service to this person?' What have you learned through your journey of coming home to yourself that may help them? We are often so quick to judge or take others actions personal when most often it's something they are working through internally. It has nothing to do with you. Did you know May is national meditation month? It's the perfect time to integrate a meditation practice into your day. Try 5 minutes each day and work your way up. Eventually you'll love the feeling so much that you'll begin to lose track of time and before you know it you'll be up to 30 minutes a day. If you already have a daily practice try increasing your practice by 5 minutes. Incorporating medication into my day has been absolutely life changing. It's decreased my anxiety and depression and brought so much more love and wisdom into my life. Yesterday was a perfect day of grounding. A day in the park by the river with bare feet in the grass and a healthy dose of vitamin D. This day was so different from all the others. We laid a tapestry in the clovers where I decided to make these flower necklaces like I once did as a child. A day out is different after quarantine. The smell of flowers is so much more fragrant, a kiss of the sun is so much more luminous, the sound of people laughing and singing is so much more joyous. As we were leaving the park we stopped to thank an officer for his service and his words will stick with me forever. We are going through so many emotional cycles individually and collectively during this time on Earth. It's so important to be present in these emotions as they arise. Greet your emotional cycles without judgement. Let them know your aware of their existence. Ask yourself, what can I learn from this emotion? Is this an emotion coming from a new source or one that keeps coming back in many cycles? If the emotion is no stranger to you, ask it why it keeps coming up within you. Nurture the cycle and ask how you can heal her; how you can learn from her. Emotions don't arise on their own will, nor are they from someone or something else. Something deep within you allowed the emotion to surface. A wound that needs healing, or a lesson that's needed to be learned. Use them as a map to guide you back to your truth. I've been doubling up on my CBD doses the last couple of weeks to ease anxiety and restore sleeping patterns through these bizarre times in our lives. I started taking it years ago as a way to stay off anti anxiety prescriptions and other substances. (Which helped astonishingly) For the last year I quit taking CBD oil to see of I could fully sustain my mental healthy with only meditation, rituals and talk therapy. The last month has been a doozie with the virus and energetic shifts so I've picked the oil back up for now. If you're finding yourself filled with an intense rush of emotions through this time I encourage you not to pick up alcohol or other mind altering substances that keep you from being present in the moment. We need to fully feel this shift and work through these energies that are coming up within ourselves. Instead try some adaptogens or CBD oil to help ease your stress and anxiety. I pulled these two beautiful cards this week and felt a strong need to share. During the last few months I've received the term 'energy mover' many times during my meditation and reiki practices. I didn't know what to make of it at first but after asking for guidance I've been asked to share this knowledge with other lightworkers and healers. There are so many intense energies circulating through out the earth right now and we have the incredible job of raising these energies. We can move this energy with our breath. You don't have to be in meditation or prayer just simply breath deep and allow the energy to transform from low to high within you. Use your intuition to know when an energy that needs moving has arrived to you. It may only need one breath or it may need many. This energy shift is no joke! What even is a healthy sleep pattern anymore? If you're finding yourself infused with a multitude of emotions that are keeping you from sleeping try meditating in bed while focusing on your root and heart chakra. Place one had at your heart and the other at your root while focusing on your breath.
