School Posters on Color Me Sold

I'm building a high school in my game and I needed some posters like this, but I only found them in custom meshes. My time to shine! There are 6 recolors, images are from Freepik. I used quite a few simlish fonts I don't exactly remember, but they're likely by SIMale and Franzilla.

'Baddie Socials' Mod for TS3

Excited to be releasing my first interaction mod on Monday 9/29!

I was inspired by several amazing TS4 mods that add custom social menus for realism and added drama, and decided to try to bring that to the Sims 3!

Your sims can quickly make new enemies (or besties) with the use of the new Baddie Socials Menu. The mod uses EA animations (for now) and also adds 12 new custom buffs that will be given to your sims when using any of the 10 new interactions! Each interaction will be fully tunable so that you can adjust the relationship gains, sim availability (age & species), buff behavior, etc.

I am finishing up this mod and will be wrapping up my new 'Elder Socials' mod soon after. I also have quite a few ts4 to ts3 recipe conversions complete that I will hopefully be releasing soon! Note: I'm very new to the modding community so not exactly sure of the protocols around releasing conversions. I'm still waiting on a response from the original creators regarding permission (they will all be released for free as they are not my original mesh).

Hello everyone! I messed around in SimPE and somehow made neighborhood fog! As some of you creators know, some of the neighborhood objects can’t be manipulated or recolored. But I found a way to basically flip the neighborhood clouds object a 180 degrees, so that instead of floating in the air the clouds are now on ground level, creating a lovely animated fog.

21 Hair Color Presets

I was in CAS this morning and noticed that I had saved a significant number of hair color presets, so I decided I’d upload some for you guys! These are my most frequently used hair colors, and they work best with soft control and EA control, as I hardly ever use adjust shine. I really recommend using plumblobs retextures for these, but the colors are pretty versatile so I’m certain they’ll look good with other hair textures! I even gave them some pretentious names that I totally worked harder than I should have on.

These are in .sims3pack files. If anyone wants to convert them to package files for their own use, go ahead! If/when I figure it out for myself, I’ll probably update this post. I’ve included two swatches (natural and unnatural) of the hair colors in the folder so you can sort through the ones you want and don’t want. Also, the previews in this post and in the swatch are completely unedited! What you see is what you get :)

If you guys like these, I’ll upload my collection of dip-dye and ombre hair colors. Trust me, I’m hoarding a ton.

THE SIMS 3 STORE PRE-INSTALLED

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, I’m releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!

It comes with all available fixes and collection folders I’ve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).

Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).

Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.

You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.

Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.

CAUTION

Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.

If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.

I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.

Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.

I had a report that there was an invisible top in CAS. It doesn't seem to have a CASP resource so it shouldn't cause any issues (like being assigned to a random Sim). It's best to avoid it or hide it or blacklist it using NRaas mods. Do NOT try to save the game while your Sim is "wearing" this invisible top.

UPDATE #1: MARCH 2025

Added some missing content: the Mother Russia CAS Set and the Cool Chap Cap that was given as a secret bonus item in the "Make Me an Offer" page. If there's something else missing, please let me now.

Now NRaas MasterController and the Cheats and Integration modules are included in the pack. This version NRaas MC comes with CAS Compact Mode enabled by default. This should fix the issue of blank/invisible CAS items and also speed up the loading of CAS items. Keep in mind, these mods aren't compatible with Lazy Duchess' Smooth Path, but you can have both. Her mod will automatically disable the fast loading of CAS items.

One of my sims was earning a little too much money and somehow this spiralled into me developing this mod. Introducing a very configurable tax and benefit system alongside an all new active career!

The tax and benefit system is modelled after the system we have here in England. All tax and benefit options are configurable and sims will only be opted in if you want them to. See the included documentation for a proper feature breakdown.

There are three types of taxes:

Council Tax (a property tax)

Business Tax

National Insurance (an income tax)

Register sims for each type of tax through the city hall.

There are four types of benefits:

Universal Credit

Housing Benefit

Child Benefit

Job Seekers Allowance

Register sims online, through social interactions with the all new Civil Servant, or at a HSRC communications booth.

Civil Service Career

Work for the HSRC in this fully functional active career.

There are 36 jobs which can be completed: 27 are custom career opportunities (like in the private eye career), 9 of them are custom active jobs (like in the interior decorator or firefighter career).

Jobs include: checking benefit eligibility for sims around town, attending job fairs, auditing, community outreach, responding to council house repair requests, and things of that nature.

Communication Booth

Civil Servants are given communication booths which can be placed anywhere in the world. This object has 2 geostates and can be set up or packed down when not needed.

Council Houses

Properties that are not owned by a sim are council houses. There are some unique interactions for these homes. For one, they can be more susceptible to pests (if enabled in the tuning, that is).

Complain to the Council

Depending on the type of property the sim lives in, they can complain to the council about housing issues such as overcrowding, broken facilities, or vermin.

Social Interactions

There are 12 new social interactions found under Friendly, Funny and Mean.

Hi! So for the long time I've been using veronavillequiltingbee's Personal Wants Tree mod and I've pondered "could I ever make a Wants Tree of my own - without breaking them?" I've never actually tried too much because I wasn't too much tech savvy to mess with that kind of files, but then I saw Riftwalker's Wants Trees and saw a commenter want to combine that mod with Fewer Hobby Wants, so I said "why not?" and got to work reading tutorials and the like. Gladly, I ended up with a Wants Tree that I loved and also learnt a thing or two in the process!

KNOWN ISSUES

Engagement and Steady wants may roll at the same time.

Sims may roll Steady wants towards their spouses.

Teens may still get the 20 Woohoo LTW despite the wants being disabled. A workaround is to just reroll the LTW with a mod such as Sim Blender.
