Another "throw away" practice piece. Working on even selvedges AND less side tension which equals less pull in. Rolled in a sized and cut paper bag on the back bar to help the warp threads keep even tension. I am still clumsy at tieing the warp threads evenly and my weft thread sometimes ends up slightly wavy after the first or second heddle beat, but I manually smooth them straight with a comb.

I discovered DMC has a ton of free cross stitch patterns 👀 Free patterns and a lot of floss.... Obviously it was time to learn cross stitch too 😊😅
