Hey there everyone, it's been such a long time since I posted here. I wanted to do a quick post to let everyone know; I'm doing great and there is a lot happening in my life right now. 

Firstly, I've been doing some self healing and I'm proud to say that my dietary plan is doing a fantastic job. I've lost 7lbs so far and I just started my new fitness plan 3 weeks ago. My goal is to drop down from my current weight of 200lbs to 150lbs and given my record so far; I'll get there through hard work and dedication. We can do this!

Secondly; I'm feeling very inspired lately and have been working on new music creations as well as compiling some poetry I haven't released to be released later this year. I'm so excited for what is to come and it's good to be getting back to my creative nature.

I've been through a lot and I can't wait to express that in all of the outlets of creativeness I have been daydreaming about lately. It's been too long and this is my year you guys ♥️

It's been years and it still stays

I get angry and I get carried away

I regret but then I change

We almost made it

My gasp for air took over

I had no choice but to let go

When the wrinkles appear on my skin

As if a cruel joke upon myself

Reminders of the torment I felt

You weren't love, you weren't hate

A solemn mistake

Cool for the Summer

Just one day ago, we had a terrible fire break out in one of the apartments in the corner end of the upper side of my building, leaving 8 people homeless. A terrible time here in our little community.

I can't help but feel weird when I walk outside to see the overhead lights we normally had before this happened no longer beaming over our walkways...all that's left is silence and darkness which is far more haunting than just no one living here at all. A grim reminder of what took place just a day ago.

Accoridng to local officials and media outlets, the investigation deemed this fire to be a cooking incident gone wrong. 

What I don't seem to understand however is that they arrested a guy living here who made a threat to burn down our building just 4 days before this happened. There seems to be more to this story but for now, we must move on. 

Luckily, no one was hurt but this is a reminder to all of us; put safety first. 

Do not leave electrical items on or unattended and do not leave cooking areas cluttered or at risk for fires. Be aware of your surroundings and remember that most fires are preventable.
