I’m tcc as well so by no means do I mean to direct any criticism towards you by asking this, but are they aware of who the people in them are? If so does it bother them at all?

i’ve gotten this question a few times actually so i’m glad i can answer it in a post.

my parents don’t care at all surprisingly. they actually love my room. every time they walk into it they’re like “ahh it’s so nice in here” LMAO. they’re fully aware who all of the people are and they don’t mind. both of my parents are super into true crime as well so i think that’s why they don’t really care. and my dad actually has a ‘Bowling for Columbine’ dvd so I assume he at least has some sort of interest in Columbine. and i often watch true crime documentaries with my mom, including those about school shootings.

A bit puzzled that you would be asking ME this question as if i’m the only Columbiner in the world, but i’ll answer anyway. I’m more interested in Eric and Dylan’s mentality, feelings, and thought process prior to the attack and how they came to end their lives than I am interested in the attack itself. Me (and many others) can relate to Eric and Dylan’s feelings of depression, loneliness, isolation, and anger. I’m also very intrigued by the media’s portrayal of Columbine and The Columbine Effect. The whole “goth, Marilyn Manson worshipping freaks” thing I find very fascinating, and how the tragedy transformed public safety by serving as a blueprint for future copycat attackers. We also have similar tastes in music and movies. Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, Rammstein, The Chemical Brothers…you get the gist. So I feel like that’s another reason I’m drawn to them. Music is a big part of who I am and to see others who share that makes me get quite attached. And yes, I know they probably would’ve shot me if I went to school with them… but I DIDNT go to school with them, now did I? I wasn’t even alive back then. I hate when people say “What if?” and bring up hypothetical scenarios like that, it’s pointless because that’s NOT how the situation played out so the point is moot. Anyway, in summation, I’ve been very intrigued by the topic of school shootings for as long as i’ve attended school. Being a kid who goes to school in America, you’re introduced to the subject quite early on. And it’s always fascinated me. What goes on inside someone’s head to lead them to do such a thing? Two kids just like you or I, led down a path to murder. It’s really saddening and to be honest i’ve cried a lot about it, about all the lives lost and how their families must feel. I feel a lot of anger towards Eric and Dylan for what they did, but also I feel empathy for them. They really needed help, and it’s sad to see their downward spiral. And personally I wouldn’t consider my interest in Columbine as “romanticizing” it. What is there to romanticize about the murder of children? Like i’ve said, my interest in Columbine is more so about Eric and Dylan’s mentality prior to the attack. I’m very much into psychology and what goes on in people’s heads. I have a few books about Columbine for this reason, I really want to dig into their minds. I want to learn about their behaviors, what their peers thought of them, what their families thought, etc. And yes, I am mentally ill but what does that have to do with anything? You can be mentally stable and still have an interest in stuff like this. Think about all the psychologists there are, crime scene examiners, etc.

most of the photos i print myself with a regular printer!! i just use 8.5 x 11 copy paper, nothing crazy. as for the different sizes - to get smaller photos i print multiple images on one page and then cut them out. and for larger posters there’s a site i use called rasterbator.net and all you have to do is upload a picture and it will enlarge the image into multiple pages, then you print the pages out and combine them (kinda like a puzzle) and it will form a large poster!! you can adjust the measurements on the site as well if you have a specific size you want. i hope this helps!! im bad at explaining things 😓 if you’d like i can post a screen recording of the exact steps to give you a visual, just lmk (๑•́‧̫•̀๑)
