 Sure his hair gets fussed up. And he doesn’t have his glasses. And maybe he’s a little flushed. 
It happens.

Oh no. Nathalie is coming. Oh god, he’s monologuing - he can’t hear!

Give us an episode where Gabriel and Nathalie travel to Tibet together with the translated book, that has flashbacks seamlessly interlaced with scenes of (younger) Gabriel and Emilie’s initial trip.
