blueheroofdimensions:
I guess youāre right, maāam. Ā But considering what I saw when I hopped to this world and time, Iām unsure if this next part will unsettle you or not. Ā Basically, Ganonā¦heās going to eventually break out. Ā Not in one, or even two timelines or times. Ā Heās going to get out no matter what is done, and itās kinda one of the constants in the future no matter how hard I looked. Ā But as for what happens in this timelineā¦well, if I told you, itād like cause massive trouble for sure. Ā Especially if you knew what not having a hero around would cause. Ā Which isā¦kinda the reason why I came here besides the wholeĀ āganonā thing. Ā If youād trust a kid like me to be a new hero of sorts for Hyrule, then I guess I could tell you what happens without oneā¦but I doubt youāll like it.
*And as Link would tell Zelda this, he had a bad feeling that he was about to do the biggest no-no in all of time traveling: Ā to directly influence and change the events of time. Ā Still, as he braced for her response, he had a feeling he was eventually going to end up like every other Link from all other timelines and would end up saving this oneā¦even if he worried he might not be up for the task, as the blue-garbed boy would look up at her.*
āIt is a sad truth. I knew the seal could not hold him forever.ā
She was aware, that if the evil king broke out, it would cause problems no matter when it happened. But it wasnāt meant to happen for many, many years past her lifetime. The seal was still new. Still holding strong. It had only been a year or two since it was created. She could also recognize that it would be made worse by Hyruleās lack of a hero. At the time, it didnāt need one. But when a time arose that it did, there wasnāt going to be one. She knew that much. Link had gone off on his own travels when he was just a boy. He had no descendants here.
āI cannot say I trust you with my country as you are now. I would have to see some feat of your ability. I can imagine how the world goes without a hero. I have seen for myself what happened, while our hero was asleep for seven long years. It is a horrible sight to behold.ā The steady frown on her face transitions into a slight smile.Ā āI appreciate your words. If you can prove yourself, I will appoint you as Hyruleās legendary hero.ā
*Link would nod and would agree with Zelda, knowing he definitely had to prove himself to both Zelda and many others in time as well he was the real deal that could save Hyrule before sheād even begin to likely get him properly set for whatever new evil awaited the land...or for when Ganon would eventually return.*
Alright then, I understand, maāam. Ā Whatever test or challenge you have for me, Iāll accept it and go through it. Ā If it helps show I can be the new hero, Iāll do it. Ā So then...what would the very princess of Hyrule wish for me to do, to prove my worth as a hero?
