The Hero of Dimensions, and his adventures...

I guess you’re right, ma’am.  But considering what I saw when I hopped to this world and time, I’m unsure if this next part will unsettle you or not.  Basically, Ganon…he’s going to eventually break out.  Not in one, or even two timelines or times.  He’s going to get out no matter what is done, and it’s kinda one of the constants in the future no matter how hard I looked.  But as for what happens in this timeline…well, if I told you, it’d like cause massive trouble for sure.  Especially if you knew what not having a hero around would cause.  Which is…kinda the reason why I came here besides the whole ‘ganon’ thing.  If you’d trust a kid like me to be a new hero of sorts for Hyrule, then I guess I could tell you what happens without one…but I doubt you’ll like it.

*And as Link would tell Zelda this, he had a bad feeling that he was about to do the biggest no-no in all of time traveling:  to directly influence and change the events of time.  Still, as he braced for her response, he had a feeling he was eventually going to end up like every other Link from all other timelines and would end up saving this one…even if he worried he might not be up for the task, as the blue-garbed boy would look up at her.*

“It is a sad truth. I knew the seal could not hold him forever.”

She was aware, that if the evil king broke out, it would cause problems no matter when it happened. But it wasn’t meant to happen for many, many years past her lifetime. The seal was still new. Still holding strong. It had only been a year or two since it was created. She could also recognize that it would be made worse by Hyrule’s lack of a hero. At the time, it didn’t need one. But when a time arose that it did, there wasn’t going to be one. She knew that much. Link had gone off on his own travels when he was just a boy. He had no descendants here.

*Link would soon look around himself, making absolutely certain not a single soul was there other than the two of them, before he would then finally calm down and speak.*

Well, you’ll find this hard to believe, but….well, I’m not from this world, or even from this time.  How do I put this…?  Basically, there’s not just one Hyrule, or even two.  There’s actually who knows how many worlds containing I don’t even know how many Hyrules.  But to keep it simple, they all spawned from this one due to some event that changed the timeline like crazy.  So it’s led to many of me, many of you, and…w-well, many of this “ganon” person as well.  And worse still, is the fact that within these many timelines and worlds lies…well, the actual Sacred or Golden Realm, whatever you call it, just hidden away.  It’s guarded by some gate with three weird locks, but safe to say if someone that isn’t good unlocks that thing, every Hyrule in existence would be in trouble.  And considering what happened to my world, you don’t wanna know what would happen to yours if it happened…

The woman listens to his words. She takes this encounter very seriously, as it is clear this being is too similar to her hero to be simple coincidence. As he goes on, her head tilts slightly in thought. It was certainly interesting to hear, and as crazy as it sounded, she wasn’t one to write someone off simply because of an odd claim.

“…So it was my doing.” It all started here. It had to have something to do with her, and the hero’s escapades through time. “You do not have to worry about any evil from this time period. It has been sealed away. The seal will not be broken in any near future. I always knew what I did could have a negative effect on the timeline. But it had to be done. It was the right thing to do.” A smile forms on her features, though it is bittersweet.

“When evil did overtake Hyrule, a hero not unlike yourself fought to put an end to it. He lost his childhood to that battle. The chance to be an ordinary boy. So I used my power to send him back in time. To a time when the evil would no longer be there, so that he could grow up properly. That is the only odd thing I can think of that occurred in the timeline, unless there is something that went on without my knowledge.

“Alright then, better we do that so that way I can say this safely.  Especially considering how this may change things once I explain this.”

*And Link would say this as he looked back and forth, hopeful as he did such that Zelda wouldn’t freak out once it was time to say the truth.  And bracing for whatever would come next, as he would soon follow Zelda to said courtyard for some privacy.*

The woman walks, elegant as ever. She wasn’t really concerned, in true honesty. It sounded like this person had gone up against the evil king during his reign of terror, and failed. No reason to believe the seal had been broken just yet. It may change when she hears what he has to say, but until then, she would keep her stance.

“Only the blade of evil’s bane can harm him.”

Maybe that wasn’t as obvious as it should have been. All the legends spoke of such. That the evil could only be defeated by the Master Sword. Anything else would have been unable to do any true damage to him. It was why only the hero of time could put an end to him, all of those years ago. Even then, he wasn’t truly dead. Just sealed away, hopefully for longer than her lifetime would be.

*It would take Link a good half hour of entering the dark castle, overcoming its traps and monsters and so forth to get there.  But as he climbed up that staircase and would open those golden doors, Link would stand there looking more like a swiss army knife in hylian form than a hero as he held the Master Sword in his left hand, and the hylian shield in his right.  It was indeed time at last, as Link looked more serious and ready than he had ever been in his life.*

I’ve traveled throughout many timelines, explored many worlds and hopped through more dimensions than I hope to ever remember going through.  I’ve faced things a normal man would have nightmares over, and have bested many a foe.  I’ve done so much and collected so many things I might as well by a marketplace in Hylian form.  And I’ve obtained everything I needed for this very moment.  But right now, all that matters is that it’s time to finally do this, to defeat you and do what many a Link has done before.  I already know by now how this story ends, Ganon.  The only question now…is if you’re ready for what comes next…

The king lifted the crystal containing the princess high into the sky “The future is not written in stone hero. We will see what outcome this bears, now then.” Raising a hand, swirls of dark energy surrounding his foe “That is not a toy.” The triforce parts resonating “Give it to me.” 

*Link was horrified to see this, seeing the state those who once were human or otherwise changed into such monsters by the whim of such a cruel being.  With Link finding himself not where he intended, but instead outside of what seemed like a massive floating and black castle and within the center of a town near such, he could then tell where his destination was.  And with this, as he would use his shield to block and deflect any of the once townsfolks’ attacks, not wishing to harm any of them, it would soon take him a good few minutes to run towards what seemed like the entrance.  Yet as he would stand there, it likely wouldn’t take Ganon long to realize a certain once young blue-garbed hero had arrived as Link stood there.  Such was made especially clear once Ganon’s hand would glow to show another triforce piece was nearby, as Link braced himself for whatever challenges and horrors awaited him up there.  Leaving the hero to utter a single, but clear sentence as Link readied himself for the final battle.*

And as such, time would pass on as the boy who was Link would age up into an adult, and would gather many a tool for what was to come.  A bow and various arrows, a long-reaching hookshot, rods that controlled the elements, hammers, and so many other things.  But most of all, he had the one weapon that could finally take down this “Ganon”, the Master Sword, now with him.  With this, and a Hylian Shield for protection, he was armed to the teeth with weapons, potions and everything else he could carry.  Considering who he was up against, he wasn’t taking any chances at all.  But as he would begin to dimension hop to the world that Ganon had by then taken over, he would brace for whatever he would discover next, as he would then hop into the world, and would land right into their throne room.  Leaving the adult Hero of Dimensions, as he was known by now, to bring out his sword as he would look to see what he was about to fight.*

*Link was left tossed like a ragdoll a good distance away, leaving the kid garbed in a blue tunic and cap to flop to the ground and get nearly knocked out by such.  Yet soon, Ganon would be left seeing a single scratch on his left hand, a blue one that didn’t seem to go away no matter how hard he would try to remove it.  Even though he didn’t do any damage at all to him, Link had left a mark on the king of darkness and evil himself, a reminder of the battle the two would inevitably have one day as he would barely be able to get up.  But yet as he did so, he would nod, smirking at Ganon as he would then say a few words that Ganon would be left to remember until the day of their battle as they would walk away.*

Is that so?  Well then, I’ll remember that.  And when I come back, I’ll be ready to fight you properly…and once I win, you’ll tell me EVERYTHING!”

Did you even listen to anything I said?  I asked if you knew of the triforce.  If you aren’t gonna take me seriously, I’ll have to get the answer out the hard way!

*With the cocky attitude and tone of his voice he had, Ganon would then realize it was one of THESE Links he was dealing with.  Confident, feeling he could take on anything…and WAY in over his head.  And as Link would soon grip his simple shortsword with his two hands and would go for a swing of the leg to try to catch Ganon off-balance, it was clear that he’d have to teach this kid the hard way that it was going to be a LONG time before it would be the right time for their fateful battle, as has always been the case for many a century.  Although considering this poor kid had no idea what he was even doing yet or how to set up to be a true fitting hero to fight him yet, Ganon would likely have to send him off to the right place before he could work on being a worthy foe…and also to get some peace and quiet if this “hero” kept at it like this.*

When the hero moved forward he simply reached out, aiming to grab him by the head and lift him up with ease.

“I told you boy, you don’t have the means to defeat me here. That pathetic sword is nothing but a butter knife against me.” Tossing him away.

No, but considering the fact that I ended up all the way here from my own world, I figure I can put two and two together.  Still, since better to be sure than not, what do you know of the triforce?

*And as he stood there, it’d be clear to Ganon himself that this was yet another new ‘hero’ sent forth to do the same deed as many before him did.  But with this Link seeming so clueless as to just about all the main things a Link usually learns about, his blue garbs and so much more, it was clear that he was way out of his league.  And with him wielding a normal blade instead of a certain light of evil’s bane in his hand, Ganon had nothing to likely fear for now, as this Link stood there ready to fight like any other would.*

He stepped toward the boy “Listen kid.” crossing his arms “You don’t have a chance against me.” Not answering the boys question. “Go home before you get hurt.” He had no interest in killing a child who couldn’t even properly defend himself against him. 

Yes, I do exist and can hear you, ya know.  Still, I don’t know who you are, or what you do…yet I do know some goddess or something told me you gotta be stopped for some reason…so yeah, kinda need to do that.
