Azula. The Princess who wanted perfection too much.

You know, near the end of ATLA, I actually related to Azula a lot. Because at a young age she was gifted, so greatness was expected of her. All her life, she strove to be perfect She craved nothing more than her parents’ praises and acceptance, but when it was not given, she cracked.

                       village, nearly an hour away, in search of supplies                        and food under the guise of theirstolen fire nation                        attire about twenty minutes ago. there current                         encampment in the woods wasn’t ideal, but appa                        was tired. and the four of them were h u n g r y.                                                   &. toph was n a p p i n g presently.                                                leaving katara with her thoughts and                                                                 a mild sense of boredom.                                giving way to her sudden desire to take a walk.                        which happened to be exactly what she was doing                             presently, quite a ways from camp and bending                        a small sphere of water between her hands absent-                       mindedly. and just as she was emerging from a pair                            of bushes –– B U M P E D. water dropped to the                              mossy ground, surprise contorting her features.                           an apology was ready to leave her lips as hands                          vainly attempted to brush the water off her person,                          then the other s p o k e and katara’s apology died                           before it could be delivered.                                          ocean hues narrowed, snapping towards                                        the other. a fire nation elite, from the looks                                    of it. vaguely familiar. regardless, who does                                                                                     she think –––

    "You dare talk back to your princess, you foolish swine? You should be cowering in fear!"

Her eyes rapidly moved up and down, surveying this bold subject of hers. Or, was she a subject? Her tanned skin and deep blue eyes didn't seem very characteristic of a citizen of the Fire Nation. This would explain why she didn't immediately bow down and apologize after they ran into each other.

Azula's eyes moved to the puddle of water being soaked into the grass below the girl. She looked back up at her, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. Azula didn't see any kind of bottle or pouch of water on the girl's person. Where else could this random pool of water have come from? Her frown quickly turned into a fiendish smirk.

I don’t really know what to say about this, but I love crazy lighting and dynamic poses though I am not the best at them. Azula was one of the move amazing female villians I have ever seen on television, and is one of my favorite characters. Tools: Paint Tool SAI
