Could you please explain something for me.

In the latest preview images for the next week's episode, we can see that teen Touya is crying real tears.

I thought his tear ducts were burned, how come?

We don't know, but as far as I remember that's the only real tear we see post-Sekoto peak.

It suggests that Toya was able to cry still a little after his reconstruction surgery, but then I guess as he kept pushing himself, his tear duct burned shut.

The other possibility is that his tear-duct is already burnt, but the idea of giving up on Endeavor is so painful to him that somehow he's able to cry a real tear.

Anyways - it's heartbreaking either way.

Also just a shoutout to bones animators eye for detail how the scars around his eyes is darker - where his fire started.
