Hello!! I am @bluechicknugget , and this is a blog where I’ll post anything regarding to the production of my Kerdly visual novel, “For the Love of the Game”!

The basic gist of the plot is; Kris and Berdly are stuck together for a group project in Ms. Alphys’ class where the two of you must raise an egg together for a month! As the weeks go on, their relationship starts to change noticeably… Whether that be for the better or worst.

I am making all of this on Ren.py and visual studio for coding the game in the python language, so any suggestions on that would be helpful!! (And if you have already given tips, thank you SO SO MUCH!)

WHAT CONTENT WILL THE VN HAVE?

Being based on a ship it will, of course, have a ton of romantic elements! The VN will also have different branching paths depending on what you choose including various scenarios to see these FREAAKS in!!

Im still planning on what I want to do for the game (either chop it up into a small series until I can combine them all into a single game when its finished OR work on the entire game and it comes out very very later..) and its also in early production phases when it comes to the art and coding since it is just ME doing this.. so please be patient!

KERDLY VN PROGRESS!

PROGRESS LOG 3!

I don’t have much for this one as I did the other ones, but I think this is also just as good!

Starting off; I got a feww people from the Kerdly nation server to help look at a part of a demo!! They all were especially helpful with proof reading or checking for any problems within the game (Except Aurnadri…)

There was, however, an error in the code that I tried to mess with but Ren.py was very picky! D: I wanted to work on it and get the whole thing posted on last week Sunday BUT I’ve come down pretty badly with the flu so this week or next week Saturday will be my deadlines (And if the gamer goddess finally allows I can post it here too 💔💔)

HOW WILL THE GAME BE UPLOADED?

The game has a LOT of sections so what I was thinking was to make those into chapters and until the full thing is finished, it’ll be an assortment of smaller parts! It sounds good in my head, but we’ll just have to wait and see for when the first chapter is finished! ;-P

I didn’t really have much to share this time around, so I was going to show sneak peaks of the cutscenes in the game!! (Except the files completely corrupted on me..)
