I'm not 100% sold on this one so he might get a second design soon :) I asked in a Twitter poll whether he might have looked A) Close to in-game design, B) Similar to Fujiki, C) Very techy/robotic, D) Very angel/god-like. On another note, I fully believe the design they showed for him in the prequel (the long hair faceless person pic) is supposed to be a nod to his original version so I'm keeping the long hair and androgynous body.

Can you hear me sobbing? I thought these were letters so I wasn't expecting Hiyori to actually be there reacting in real-time, because of that, it reads a bit like a Short Story. Haiji and Hiyori are my favorite pairing ever so seeing more of them was an absolute treat. I had a hard time figuring out what ending are they supposed to be in since Haiji talks as if he had a humanoid body but he's talking to Hiyori openly about being the original Producer so that means it has to be Truth End...? The same happens in his Lacus Felicitatis audios so I might be missing something??? Did I skip a SS where he gets an android? Or does Hiyori still interact with him in VR after everything went down in the Truth end?

Second time translating for Charamani! Iām really in love with this game, FD now, please. Again, if you spot any mistakes, let me know right away and Iāll change it asap!!! I had a hard time with Ebanaās part because his rough Japanese can be hard on my little brain, if you have any notes for his part I'll be more than glad to fix it. This tokuten features Haiji, Ebana, and Dazai. They each have their own short scenario, but the three scenes happen chronologically on the same day. Itās up to you if you only want to get to your man or if youāre listening to the three of them. Enjoy!! This one is really really cute.

Personal comment:
This CD is so cute!!!!!! Definitely one of my favorite tokutens from the game. They are all a great group, but their one-to-one scenarios with Hiyori have me on a chokehold. Their charasongs CDs come with two more of this kind of scenarios for every one of them, they are still around 5 minutes each. They really left me craving your typical hour-long drama CD. Also, being able to see them having a normal quite chaotic day for once is too wholesome for my poor heart. As always, Iāll be here lighting up candles for more Charade Maniacs content.

Personal comment:
This was a very fun one to do, I especially loved Futamiās dynamics with those two. We didnāt see him interacting that much with Haiji in-game, so I was quite surprised when I heard how softly he spoke to him compared with when he addressed Gyoubu.

Cat Haiji because I had a fever and the voices told me to do it.
Also here are some headcanons I brainrotted over while drawing this (I might draw them as comics one day). Implied spoilers š
- He's a maine coon so he's actually huge.
- Hiyori fully believes him to be an oversized kitten despite Haiji's cat form being too big.
- Sneaks into Hiyori's room while she sleeps and curls himself up on her face choking her and waking her up at random hours. She got fed up and now goes to pick him up before going to bed so he snuggles in her arms and not on her face.
- Scratches and hisses at Dazai, but only when Hiyori is not looking.
- ALWAYS stealing food from Ebana. Hiyori had to promise to split her food with Haiji so Ebana wouldn't murder and cook him on the spot. Ebana felt bad and ended up cooking food that won't make a cat sick for him. Haiji wants to eat whatever is on Hiyori's plate anyways.
- Plays with the Arcadians and comes home covered in slime. Hiyori refuses to touch him.
- Gets inside the tub when Hiyori bathes, she finds it amusing that he's a cat that isn't scared of water. She has no clue.
- The bouncers help him with their robotic arms if he wants to reach a high place.
- Randomly steals stuff from Gyoubu's room and brings it to Hiyori, trying to make her suspicious of him. Gyoubu 100% knows he's not a real cat.
- The others are suspicious of Haiji being an Arcadian in disguise but Hiyori will scream if you bring it up. Mamoru sighs longingly and leaves the room whenever they discuss this.
- Once the meadow is unlocked, Hiyori asks a bouncer for toys and they play catch there every day.
- Always sits on Hiyori's lap when she sits on the sofa, this makes her anxious since he's very big and a bit brute sometimes. Loves getting pets while they watch TV.
- Hiyori wants to adopt him when they escape Arcadia.
- He uses his bangle to project images when he wants to talk to Hiyori. Once they've been together enough weeks, he will start texting Hiyori's bangle too.
- Hiyori begs Akase to take him when he goes running so he isn't too hyper all day (it doesn't work).
- Cleaning team duo (Gyoubu+Tomose) hate his guts because the house is filled with his pawprints. Futami has to cover for him sometimes to avoid any murders.
- He follows Hiyori around and she has a 50/50 probability of finding him with a creepy stare or with a 0 braincell stare no in between
- Tries to get Hiyori to hold him and pick him up 24/7 but she isn't strong enough. He does not agree with that.
