We thought this this was a fun style inspiration from Bumble and bumble stylist Sabrina Michals to go with THE POLISHED TWO STEP Set (Left). We'll do the other set in a future post if you prefer Tousled to Polished looks. This Two Step includes Straight Blow Dry and Thickening Hairspray and makes party-ready hair easy.

“These products are incredibly user-friendly,” says Bumble and bumble Editorial Stylist Sabrina Michals. "Straight Blow Dry defrizzes and makes way for long-lasting styles, and Thickening Hairspray is my go-to, whether lightly sprayed or layered on.”

Start with the spray on damp hair at the roots and apply the styling balm from the middle to ends. Here, Michals gives some tips on what to do next. (Check out the cute pics top right!)

THE BUMP: Blow-dry, then backcomb and smooth with a large detangling brush “This is a classic look made new,” says Michals. "The Bb. Thickening spray creates structure so the backcombing stays and Bb. Straight Blow Dry lets you wear it for two more days.”

THE SWOOP: Part hair with the same flat brush and blow-dry to one side. This “soft and effortless” style is best kept polished and sleek, Michals says. Worried about hat hair with such a strong side part? “Add Bb Dry Spun Finish to the roots where your hair is flattened by your hat.”

Here she is, meet Hilary Torres a recent addition to the Bluebird family! Hilary has been doing hair for four years and is excited to be at Bluebird now- she enjoys being in our creative and diverse environment.  Hilary's personal edgy style is driven by the desire for people to be able to be themselves and redefine definitions of normal. But don't worry, she won't give you an edgy 'do' unless you want one.. What Hilary is really all about is conversation and getting people's hair close as physically possible to what they really want. She enjoys the challenge of really listening to people and helping them create the look they are trying to achieve. Although she likes all the elements of doing hair, her favourite aspects are coloring and doing extensions.

"Flaming June" by Frederic Leighton is a fave of mine and we love this representation of it on the cover of the December Vogue Editorial...In this feature actress Jessica Chastain is photographed by Annie Leibovitz playing homage to a collection of great works of art.
