would the lego movie tv show take place after the events of the lego movie?

I think it would be better if it started after the first movie. There's a lot that needs to be shown and explained that the second movie didn't, like when and why everyone lost their hope and started giving into the whole emo thing. Like with Benny, I always assumed that his Squad got taken by the Duplos because they never appeared in Apocalypseburg and you only saw them at the Systar place, so that would explain it for him. No idea with the other characters though, they barely gave any information about them.
