wow idk if this will work but this is for more info on my au!!!!! basically, the premise is a superhero au, but not the whole crew as far as i’ve planned out like from tfbw, m4, craigs gang, etc. maybe inclusion of them but not as superheroes. so, it follows mysterion primarily who is trying to figure out who is stealing all the energy in the town, and why so much of it is either being handed off or taken.

which introduces gregory, who is more of a villain!! emmm without talking too much about the kengory rivalry sideplot there gregory finds that he can’t beat him, and he goes to his partner instead, the mole. in this au i wrote them as more of an unlabeled relationship ? i think a lot of gregstophe aus write them this way, or at least like friends with benefits trope.

mole is more of a mercenary, gregory aligns mostly the same, but he only does things if they align with himself too. gregory and mole both work for professor chaos, and i couldnt rlly think of a primary reason gregory would be a villain tbh!!!! i just said, ‘yeah… he owes a lot of money but doesnt wanna sell his house’ so hes basically kind of stuck and i dont think he would rlly want christophes help (even though christophe would)

for character backstory i kind of just played around with fun concepts :3 gregorys villain name is ‘the butcher’, which is what they call him, he never really gave himself a name but he doesn’t disagree with it bc hes an #aurafarmer but anyway . i wanted to do something with his sword, rather than something with singing (which i see a lot of ppl do, or at least some) hence the name. his power came from when he was younger and exploring, where he found an ancient artifact ™️ that gave him the power to slice ////hence the name//// which is through his hands, emmm idk how to explain it the best without making ppl confused but he points his hand to what he wants cut, and as long as he says something like ‘slice’, it will work and it leaves a slice. also he has other ones rather than just a slight cut/slice, which is ‘sever’ for a penetrating wound, and ‘carve’ to cut completely through. which, is also why he wears his leather gloves ™️ to conserve energy. then, obviously he has his limits!!!! a lot of it is energy consuming, which means he can only really use slice, and sever or carve if hes sure. also, another disadvantage is that he has to be far away, because there’s a slight gap that can be reached where his power wont do anything, so no close combat.

this brings me to christophe!!!! who is his partner for a reason, or at least, someone he calls on. christophe is more close combat, gregory to me is always more offense(?)/far away in combat, so (c)defense/(g)offense in that aspect. christophe is a bit more of a hard hitter, but that’s also just how he is. his power was inspired by miraculous though😭😭😭but i thought it made sense, which is ‘second chance.’ his obvious villain name is the mole, but his power is called second chance. it’s good for close combat primarily because it acts upon itself. it gives him more of a strength boost in combat, and when he is close to death or ‘defeat’ it will give him a ‘second chance’ and he gets a higher boost of strength, invincibility, blah blah blah. this derived more from the war, and when he was revived at the end of BLU, so taken from that.

their relationship together is complicated in sight, but it really only makes sense to them. they have been friends forever, partners, and newly more explored something-ship ((i refuse to use situationship bc what situation are u in rn….?! so, at first they are both like what the fuckkkk, but then they don’t rlly see anything wrong with it. basically following bad communication gregstophe where they don’t mention anything too deep, and just keep it like how they always are. with a brief explanation, they are basically just down low . im trying to think of a good gregstophe fic where they start as down low like i know there is i think im just stupid. something something ao3 tags eventual relationship, friends with benefits
