Frankly, I don't buy the theory that the repeated sweeping deletions of trans women's blogs have principally been the product of bad-faith mass reporting campaigns abusing automated moderation. I've been falsely mass-reported before, on multiple occasions, and nothing's ever come of it. Someone is pulling that trigger.

Look I get that nobody LIKES encountering kids on social media and that it DOES in fact fuck you up to use the internet a bunch as a kid but like. I don't know what to tell you it's 2026 and TONS of kids live horrid little isolated lives in the suburbs with their fucking insane parents. When people post about how kids shouldn't be online or their parents should limit their internet use I just hear them going "PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ISOLATE YOURSELF AND RESIGN YOURSELF TO THE WHIMS OF THE NUCLEAR FAMILY. Honestly I really do think there is a trend of people only noticing traumatic situations when they line up with what society says should upset them. No yeah it's fine that every child in the nation spends 8 hours a day in what is essentially an educational detention facility. that's not fucked up, whats fucked up is they go online and see boobs. I knew someone who grew up in a cult and it sucked and consequently after escaping became very wary of any sort of insular social behavior because it reminded them of the abuse they grew up in but then you talk to people in broader society who grew up non-religious or went to public school and they still get molested and abused all the time anyways. And you kind of have to start wondering maybe its because we treat children like something you own? When I was in tenth grade I was online and used to get money by selling nudes to this old guy and obviously that really really fucked me up but I don't think the solution to that would have been "yeah you should spend all day in the educorrectional facility and not be able to talk to anyone except your parents who replaced your bedroom door with a curtain" maybe it would have been like. ubi for kids or some shit. because then when an old guy hits you up for nudes when you are 15 you straight up do not need his money. But oh well no children just simply need adults to protect and take care of them and that should be in the form of 24/7 surveillance.
