America has literally voted for fascist predators in power. A lot of other places in the world like France, UK, and Germany have seen a sharp rise of support for the alt right.

Loud minority my fucking ass. The majority are literally voting these hateful, genocidal, bigoted fucking scumbags in, and apparently us in marginalised groups are supposed to extend such baffling amounts of grace and compassion that people in privileged groups cannot have an ounce for us.

You can claim that they’re ignorant, but it is a weak excuse for when these fuckers get voted in and our rights, our safety, is literally stripped from under our feet. Hatred and hurt don’t have to be ACTIVE.

Modern games quite literally, fundamentally, are bad now. Big companies put out half finished games as a standard, everything feels rushed, and as someone who was a big Nintendo fan, I hate how you have to pay for internet access for some of the previously most fun aspects of those games. Hardware? The quality of the consoles have gotten a lot worse. We’re no longer allowed to customise home screens or hack either.

One second they’ll talk about how horribly disabled people are treated and their needs are ignored, then the next they’re saying that they need to ‘suck it up’ and get a full time job/go to college despite their pain. Or how most people have wealth based on their family’s wealth, then turn around and tell poor people that they just need to work harder. Or how it’s unfair not to have universal healthcare, then turn around and say ‘welp that’s the way it is and we can’t implement it here!’

It isn’t ‘I have [xyz disorder], so sometimes I get a wittle bit sad but live a life like everyone else teehee’, it’s: I have [xyz disorder] so I have to repeatedly and consciously try to ground myself and remember my coping mechanisms, which is exhausting. I can’t do things other people can without being reminded of traumatic events, feeling extremely out of place, and/or breaking down to the point my physical health declines or my sense of reality gets warped. Living day to day is hard.

People are telling others to work harder when there are very few jobs, they’re blatantly ignoring other people’s needs, they’re not getting news of problems we’re specifically facing. If you’re the one who is unemployed, disabled, and/or under the poverty line, it’s become so that you feel like you deserve it and that you can’t open up or ask for help from other people; it’s made us deeply depressed.

We depended on being a socialist society for a long time, we were doing a lot better in it, then it had to be ruined by the American mindset. I know it also has for smaller countries across the world too. Your crappy system is not a one size fits all solution. We miss our community.
