She doesn’t seem hurt, true– Physically, anyways. But that pride seems a little damaged, and Alm’s not sure whether he ought to be prodding too much, but he doesn’t want to leave her entirely unattended. Sometimes the smallest gestures could mean the most. If she wants the space, she’ll get it after he says his piece.

“I mean, if my opinion counts for anything I think you did pretty great. Everyone did! Today was pretty fun, slips and slides notwithstanding. And, uh… I’m sorry about the ice, if it helps. It really wasn’t supposed to be that slippery out there. If you need to let off some steam, you’re free to pelt as many snowballs at me as you think’ll help or something.”

WELL, SHE DID have that going for her, at least. None of her teammates had used her as a human shield ------ not that she would have been a very good one to begin with. Raising the mug to her lips, a content hum peaks at the back of her throat. The warmth from the beverage itself makes her feel a tad bit better. ❝ I’M NOT MUCH of a shield to begin with, I’m, well... ❞ Gods, was she really about to say it? ❝ ...I’m a bit too short to bother usin’ for something like that. ❞

BY THE WAY, I might as well get this off my chest now ------  ( because I really don’t care at this point what anyone thinks of me )  if you seriously want to whine and cry about the scramble, just do me if not all of us a big favor and GET OVER YOURSELF. The moderators work hard to put nice, fun community events like these together. They put up with so much bullshit from people who wanna do nothing but bitch and whine over the pettiest things. It’s sad that so many people enjoy being negative nancys over these events that you take a lot of the fun out it for the people who actually bother to try and enjoy themselves with it. And y’know what? I have this little tidbit to point out, too ------

NO ONE OWES YOU A DAMN THING. Literally, no one owes you a single goddamn thing. Someone is private or selective and is uncomfortable with budging on that rule, even for a short amount of time? Oh well, that’s their choice that they have EVERY RIGHT to make. It’s called suck it up and deal with it. The moderators themselves can only do so much to make so many people happy, but one thing that they can’t do is force someone to do something that violates their personal comfort just because you wanna whine and moan over how it’s unfair that they won’t roleplay with you. I could go on about so many other issues, but I’m not going to right now. This post/rant has gotten long enough as it is.

ALL I WANT is to remind people that there’s only so much that any human being can do to make others happy. It’s literally impossible to make every single person involved in these events happy. However, that doesn’t mean that you guys should be clogging the event tag with constant complaining or making posts talking about how the events are UNFAIR OR THAT YOU HATE THEM ------ because it’s just not cool. Don’t ruin the fun for everyone else just because you're miserable, because guess what? That’s not fair either. Neither is giving the mods a hard time over senseless bullshit that sometimes they have no control over.
