I HATE it when people insinuate that Langdon is like this raging misogynist like y'all the WORST and ONLYYY time he was sexist was that "I'm a doctor" scene and that was him just being fucking stupid and i dont even mean that fondly (tbh that scene definitely felt like men trying to show that they understand women's struggles but also kinda don't get the point behind why we say that - because like Langdon is working a dangerous and physically demanding job, that statement is mostly used for if the husband has like an office job or wtv(at least that's what I always thought) but also i do get the sentiment since household is unpaid labour and she doesnt get breaks or much support)
He does not show any bias against women, his favourite doctor is a woman, he listens to all women in the hospital (whether leader, equal and under him) in which have no indication that he views them differently as women and does not have a pattern of mistreating female patients
Literally he is friends/connects with mostly women and they reciprocate
Also I have seen quite a few posts that talk about reasons why no one contacted Langdon with these reasons and it's like??? Everytime he is with another character they mention how they're glad he's back and checks in on him so.....
I feel like people see these characters as only their demographics that they don't see their own personality or motivations etc
