He does not show any bias against women, his favourite doctor is a woman, he listens to all women in the hospital (whether leader, equal and under him) in which have no indication that he views them differently as women and does not have a pattern of mistreating female patients

Literally he is friends/connects with mostly women and they reciprocate

Also I have seen quite a few posts that talk about reasons why no one contacted Langdon with these reasons and it's like??? Everytime he is with another character they mention how they're glad he's back and checks in on him so.....

okay so this is gonna be pretty surface level since I'm not all that knowledgable on hockey or ADHD

1. canon info crumbs: Penguins fan & does ice plundges

2. hockey is good(?) for ADHD as it helps with focus and consistency - although from what i've heard it's better with meds

3. I feel like hockey really mirrors the ER visuals, the harsh bright white lighting with blades scraping away, the eye protection equipment

extremely fast paced while balancing on a 4mm blade and how that mirrors cutting into and saving peoples lives, and focused on that small puck - all on the edge

4. Hockey is a pretty dangerous sport and I think it's the only one where they are allowed to fight amongst each other, just like how emergency medicine you are in danger from patients, with referees not allowed(?) to interfere, just like admin is unhelpful in the pitt

5. if you are one of those interested on the Santos/Langdon parallels this works - I feel Langdon would be in a team sport due to the differences in how those characters interact with those in the workforce

Langdon has the bantering down and is comfortable with people with what they snipe back to him whereas Santos doesn't really have that and it doesn't really hit the mark since gymnastics is a bit more individualised, really enforced by her 'everyone for themselves statement'

6. we also have Robby mentioning ice hockey in the season finale - since Robby projects onto Langdon and how he subconsciously wanted that life

7. we see that Langdon is someone who is comfortable being taught even as a senior by attendings and those lower in hierarchy - and in hockey you can learn ice skating to improve technique even though it isn't traditionally masculine

8. this is pure hc but I like to imagine he uses ice skating as a coping mechanism

i mean.......funny thing is that I am also against football Langdon. I've always seen him more as a hockey guy (I could go more into that). I was just being unserious/light hearted in that post.

Im not intelligent enough to properly write an analysis but..

have great empathy for their patient while still having those emotional boundaries and not getting to close/personal

both focusing on efficiency

are great in high stakes/unpredictable circumstances (pittfest shooting and going offline + being a combat medic?)

while Al-Hashimi is an actual attending, Langdon (and Collins) felt like an attending during season 1, he had a lot of responsibility and used that to support robby the best they could

both actors have mentioned how their characters view Robby in the sense that "I see your efforts and the work you put in so please grant me the same grace" and Robby doesn't - they both have that final episode confrontation where they are right in substance but because of the situation they're in makes them look worse

Al-Hashimi with her absent seizures and Langdon has quite a few 'out of it' moments

How even when they're in denial about their struggles(?) they both still try to help themselves and put effort/in the work even before anybody saying anything (Al-Hashimi calling her neurologist and Langdon weaning himself off)

Langdon remarks that he has ADHD and Sepida Moafi mentions that Al-Hashimi may be on the autism spectrum in an interview
