I saw a lot of people requesting fan fiction so I figured I would organize my recommendations into a blog. Please feel free to ask for any trope or tag you’d like to see, I am always looking for recommendations of what fics you’d like to read!

So, anyway, Simon somehow finds himself floating in space after screaming at a giant eye in an endless red void.

Grace and Rocky are on the way to Erid when they come across an iron submarine with a dead eel monster hanging off the end.

Simon gets to heal, Grace gets to interact with another human again, and Rocky gets to watch the incredibly awkward courtship rituals of these two disasters (affectionate).

No matter what Grace tries to tell him, Simon is very sure that the man is divine in nature. It just makes sense.

Simon winds up in The Enclosure, naturally. Grace is super down to have human company on planet Erid, but he really wishes someone would have given him a little bit of warning first. Especially about Simon’s religious cult upbringing — if he had known about that, he maybe could have planned a better-worded greeting that wasn’t basically, “Be Not Afraid.” He really set them up for failure with that one. (Simon thinks he's dead and that Grace as an angel for A While due to continued misunderstandings)

It was hard to gander how long Grace was on Erid when Simon came along. He could try measuring it out using the Earth’s Gregorian calendar like he did on the Hail Mary, but that’s when he still had a “lights out” timer and didn’t live on a planet with a very different yearly calendar. Teaching little eridians has forced him to adapt to their schedule more than his.

Where was he going with this?

Right! Simon.

He still hadn’t met him yet.

Or Rocky and other eridians find a wormhole and then an injured human man! They bring him to Erid and quarantine him to get him nice and healthy, but slowly find out he’s much different than their beloved science teacher.

Ryland Grace is just a science teacher, his brother is the big deal, not that he's particularly fond of what Colt does for a living. Well, okay, maybe it's not all that bad, especially not when he gets to be on set for his favorite Youtubers new movie when class gets out. But ope, his stuntman is the most handsome guy he's ever met.

The banter between Grace and Simon felt so natural and charming their contrasting personalities created a wonderful dynamic right from the start and the way Simon's traumatic past was revealed through his PTSD episode? Handled with so much sensitivity and realism. It showed his vulnerability without romanticizing his pain. I was also curious how do you see Grace's journey toward trusting Simon evolving especially given his history of betrayal and his self protective cynicism?
