The moon hung high in the sky over the Boardwalk, casting down some light that was not at all needed, as the stalls and flickering neon signs of some stores caused more than enough light. David walked around, passing some small groups of people every now and then, his leather jacket the faint glow of the lights around him.

He was out on his own, but not to hunt or to feed. He simply had one of those days were he felt bored and had decided that maybe a walk would fix that.

“Heyy~ big boy..” Victoria swirled around him slowly as she moved out of the shadows of the boardwalk alleyways. She took a cigarette out of davids pocket and lit it carefully.

“Whats got ya all moody tonight hmm? You barely walk anymore unless its a bad night… so what is it surf nazi piss ya off… one of the boys?” She teased carefully dancing around the subject she knew it was about. Her smile was in bright till she looked at him clearly. “Its max… isn’t it?” She asked frowning now, biting into the muscle of her inner cheek. “Did he say something or…. Do… something….? I swear to god ill-“ she cut her self off knowing she couldn’t do much to Max, even if she wanted to. Her and the man had a semi okay relationship, she never had a dad and after all he did save her life but he was an asshole to her boys and not that great to her either.

“I should shut up…” she was quiet now puffing the smoke into the air.

"He didn't say anything, but he did something." David said and that was about as much as he usually told the others whenever Max had hurt him. He neved gave them any details. "I know you want to do something, but please don't. I can handle it just fine." He said with a small shrug.

He then put his hands into the pockets of his jacket, watching her puff smoke into the air. "At least him pulling something now means that I will have some peace from him for a bit again." He said, trying to find something somewhat positive to say.

“Wh…what he do….” She asked whispering so quietly she’d hope he didn’t hear her. Slowly she took the cigarette out her mouth and put it down on her skin watching the wound heal up magically. Shed wish her body would do that with emotions, just heal them over like nothing happened. “I… forget i asked…” she teared up a little before quickly wiping tears and sighing shoving david over playfully with a feigned smile

David watched her as she did that, staying silent over her question for a moment, before talking. "Nothing too bad." He said, keeping answer as vague and simple as possible.

When shd shoved him over playfully, David's body tensed up, but he forced himself to relax. "I-... sorry about that, Vic. Touches are a lil hard for me right now." He said, not really wanting her to feel bad. Right now he was simply in his usual state of 'ask me before you touch me in any way'.

Would ya be just a little transparent… please david…. How bad is it at… at least show me i….” She sighed knowing that was hypocritical of her “i know its asking a lot seeming as i dont even show you my scars but i…. I want you to trust me… i want you to be able to let me hold you while you cry or let me kiss your wounds.” She sighed again harder this time. Shrugging off her jacket in one quick moment before david could stop her. She was in a tank top, it didn’t show all her scars but just a few bad ones off her shoulder. “I want us to be able to be transparent….. not fully… not yet but…. Like sea glass.” She joked, laughing at her own analogy.

David looked at the scars on her shoulders and hesitated for a moment. "It's not that I don't trust you, because I do, I trust all of you. But I just-... It's-... Ugh! Why are words so hard sometimes?!" He growled out the lats part all frustrated, before he caught himself and forced himself to calm down a little.

"You can hold me, if you want. Or touch my arms." He offered then, his voice somewhat calm now. "But I-... I just can't. Not now. Maybe later but not now." With that he mostly meant that he needed to feel the weight of the many layers of clothes he usually wore as it was grounding to him. Just the thought of possibmy removing at least one of those layers right now made him spiral a little.

She guided him up past the cliffs and crashing waters to a field where a single huge willow tree sat. She ran up to the tree and let the flowers dust her in the night sky as she laid upon them. “Come on i wanna show you!” She smiled waving him over quickly this wasn’t exactly what she was going to show him but it was her safe space for what was coming. As the boy came over and sat next to her she carefully reached around her back picking at the fabric that covered her “y… you have to promise me something first.. before i can show you..” she sighed letting her hands rest in her lap now “you have to promise not to get mad… or overreact when i show you this….please”

Somehow that wording made David a bit worried. "Most I can promise is that I will try to not get mad or overreact." He said, seeing no point in lying. He would at the very least try, but he couldn't promise that he was 100% going to be calm at whatever she wanted to show him.

Thought it was about time you saw them for yourself…” her scars raged down her back creating dips and ripples in the skin where it was sewn back together and if you looked close enough at her spine you could see halfway down it cricked and turned abnormally.

He knew that doing that would be more efficient if he took off his gloves, but he did not feel like taking them off right now. "You are still beautiful with them. And I love you too."

David looked at the scars on her shoulders and hesitated for a moment. "It's not that I don't trust you, because I do, I trust all of you. But I just-... It's-... Ugh! Why are words so hard sometimes?!" He growled out the lats part all frustrated, before he caught himself and forced himself to calm down a little.

"You can hold me, if you want. Or touch my arms." He offered then, his voice somewhat calm now. "But I-... I just can't. Not now. Maybe later but not now." With that he mostly meant that he needed to feel the weight of the many layers of clothes he usually wore as it was grounding to him. Just the thought of possibmy removing at least one of those layers right now made him spiral a little.

She ran up to the tree and let the flowers dust her in the night sky as she laid upon them. “Come on i wanna show you!” She smiled waving him over quickly this wasn’t exactly what she was going to show him but it was her safe space for what was coming. The moon hung high in the sky over the Boardwalk, casting down some light that was not at all needed, as the stalls and flickering neon signs of some stores caused more than enough light. David walked around, passing some small groups of people every now and then, his leather jacket the faint glow of the lights around him.

He was out on his own, but not to hunt or to feed. He simply had one of those days were he felt bored and had decided that maybe a walk would fix that.

“Heyy~ big boy..” Victoria swirled around him slowly as she moved out of the shadows of the boardwalk alleyways. She took a cigarette out of davids pocket and lit it carefully.

“Whats got ya all moody tonight hmm? You barely walk anymore unless its a bad night… so what is it surf nazi piss ya off… one of the boys?” She teased carefully dancing around the subject she knew it was about. Her smile was in bright till she looked at him clearly. “Its max… isn’t it?” She asked frowning now, biting into the muscle of her inner cheek. “Did he say something or…. Do… something….? I swear to god ill-“ she cut her self off knowing she couldn’t do much to Max, even if she wanted to. Her and the man had a semi okay relationship, she never had a dad and after all he did save her life but he was an asshole to her boys and not that great to her either.

He then put his hands into the pockets of his jacket, watching her puff smoke into the air. "At least him pulling something now means that I will have some peace from him for a bit again." He said, trying to find something somewhat positive to say.
