This day turned into hell and I just need to ashdhfhbsj-.-
So at work I get a notification for a flash flood warning. Rain is crazy and as I'm clocking out the store loses power for a minute before generators kick on.
Partner picks me up and we can't take our normal exit because it's flooded. Next exit is also flooded, but not as bad and we make it through.
We come home to this
And about an hour after we got home, this is my mom's car (at first it was just up to the tires)
Water eventually receded, but the battery is dead and a neighbor recommended that we have it towed to our mechanic, have all the fluids changed and hope it's saveable. THEN about an hour ago the doorman was banging on all the doors telling us the electrical company was on the way to have the power cut for the next 24 hours (he didn't say why). Partner is now parked a few streets over at my aunt's so we'll at least have one working car.
