Why Most Block Blast Runs Fail Before the Board Actually Fills Up
One thing that surprised me after playing Block Blast longer is how many losses happen because of positioning mistakes several moves earlier.
Most players focus only on clearing rows quickly, but long sessions depend much more on preserving board flexibility and avoiding dead zones near the center.
A few habits that improved my consistency a lot:
⢠keeping at least two recovery lanes open ⢠avoiding panic placements late game ⢠slowing down during crowded board states ⢠saving revives for forced placements instead of small mistakes ⢠protecting center-board flexibility
The game feels simple at first, but the strategy depth becomes surprisingly noticeable during high-score runs.
