Our first issue is scheduled for Summer 2026, so our cutoff for this reading period will be May 20th. Pieces submitted after this date will be considered for our fall/winter issue.

hi! quick question about the magazine issue (as someone that has never submitted or tried for one): specifically around for art pieces submissions: are the pieces to submit meant to be the final ones for submission or more or a sample of what you can do (like a portfolio) and you'll be contacted if you are accepted to be published in the magazine? Also, are any of the 2 pieces you submit under a single title? (as the form says Title of work, I'm assuming that's the case)

hi!!! those are great questions!

the pieces submitted should be what you hope gets published. we limited it to two to encourage people to send their best work, and so that we can be sure we have space for a variety of artists. however, you've given us a great idea for artist spotlights in the future! for the form, you can separate the titles by commas or slashes ("Art Piece 1"/ "Art Piece 2") and we'll know what you mean as long as the file names match the titles.
