1. Feng Xiao/Cui Buqu (Peerless) + Feng Xin/Mu Qing (TGCF) (I can’t pick between these two for first I love them both dearly)

1.Hua Cheng/Xie Lian (TGCF)

it's been three years since I've read tgcf and I'm still reading fanfics about them trying to fill the hole in my heart 😭

2.Shen Qiao/Yan Wushi (Thousands Autums)

they could and they did ,two people with opposites ideologies clashing together , both trying to change the other and eventually accepting eachother for who they are ,an actual enemies to lovers story beautifully executed by Meng Xi Shi🙌

3.Qin Jiu/You Huo (Global Examination)

My favorite power couple ,these two be flirting while fighting,they're so shameless XD

4.Feng Xiao/Cui Buqu (Peerless)

I've been quoting my favorites quotes so far but when it comes to fengcui every piece of dialogue between these two has kept me entertained 😂 , I love their endless bickering I'd listen to a 5h podcast of them if it were possible 🦚🦊

5.Lin Qingyu/Lu Wancheng (Married Thrice To Salted Fish)

Notice now they are always portrayed as opposites? How they complete eachother.

One had the world and the other hand nothing.

One was born in luxury, gold and satin, lived a good life, grew up well, had looks and brains to cope, got a good position from the start, became a sect leader and basically lived the perfect life.

The other was born lowly, in filth and abuse. He lost the home he never had, was sickly and frail and was on the verge of death daily, had such poor health a gust of wind got him bed-bound for months. Had to work all his life for food and to live. The only thing that kept him alive were his intelligence and determination. He earned his position as Commander and deserves it wholeheartedly.

How one is the Sun and the other the Moon? How one was born to reach the stars, and with heaven on their side daily and the other forced to fail but defied the heavens daily to achieve such succes?

How by the end you change your opinion because of what they go through? How Feng Xiao wasn't always so loved by the heavens, how he also suffers and goes through pain? How Cui Buqu somehow manages to make it to the end alive? And even so he has a long way to go, how through his suffering he found this peace?

How they're so similar? They bicker and fight and pit eachother and cause problems and have their narcissistic sides and how they they boast about their smarts and compare eachother? How they find reasurence in eachother? How they find someone like them, someone they can trust!!

Notice how everytime Feng Xiao kissed Cui Buqu, the latter regretted they weren't genuine? Regretted they were just decoy for the enemy and wished they could have a real one? Notice how Feng Xiao was annoyed Cui Buqu never spoke his mind? How he lied to get out of trouble and how he wasn't honest when it came to that specific instance in volume 4?

Notice how they complete eachother so perfectly whilst being complete opposites?
