Oh, Robert Red had died long ago, along with the rest of his family, and it was just as Kosuke had wanted it – all that remained was Robert the Pup, this pathetic man before him with no memory, no speech, no thought.  Trained and obedient, just as Kosuke needed him to be.

     “Now there’s a good boy, bringing it back.”  Despite this claim, however, that      Robert had been good, Kosuke wouldn’t throw the toy again, instead plac-      ing it behind him on the cushion, offering his fingers to the mutt’s muzzle      instead.  “But Master doesn’t like having to tell you twice.  You’re lucky that      Master is in a good mood today.” Those fingers that lingered around his mouth would move up to his hair, giving it a good pat and scratching in that good spot right behind the ear, scratching down, down, down until he was beneath his chin.      “Come now and tell Master – what did you do while he was gone all day?”

         Thankful that he was forgiven he nudged that hand in front of him lovingly, gave it a little lick or two, to show he appreciated Master’s kindness. He knows he should be better than this━ Master had trained him to be a good pup, after all! Couldn’t go letting him down now.

         Ahh, Master always knew where to touch to make him melt and whine happily every time, knew the spots that would make his eyes roll back a little before eyes would fall close and just enjoy the sensation, as fleeting as it was, before he found himself tilting his head back as he was scratched under his chin, another soft whine leaving him. 

When Kosuke had decided that he wanted a puppy, it was for this exact reason why – the pure enjoyment and entertainment that came with watching a grown-ass man slipping and sliding across the floor to get their teeth sunk into a hunk of fabric.  Who would’ve thought Robert would break so easily?  Kosuke would have been satisfied with just an act – a man so scared of breaking the rules that they did all this to keep Master appeased, but hey – this was so much better.  So much cleaner, so much easier – to leave Robert all day and come home to a perfectly happy and energetic pup.

Soft little giggles as he watched him slide around, finally settling down with the toy and getting it all covered up in slobber – but had that been what Kosuke asked for?  No.  He’d let it slide for a minute or so, let Robert get used to the toy before sighing loudly, crossing his legs and leaning back against the sofa.      “Are you a bad boy?  Didn’t Master tell you to fetch?  Do you do whatever      you want now?”  Still amused, but his tone had a slight edge to it – it was      clear that Kosuke was capable of snapping at any moment.  “Master can      take away that toy, you know.  Bad boys don’t deserve it.”

         Not that Robert was a very mentally strong person in the first place, at least not after limb after limb had been broken as punishment for not being able to stop himself from crying, bawling his eyes out, when having found out his entire family had been murdered━ Couldn’t blame him, really. What else did he have to live for other than this? That past self; the one that was actually human and capable of more rational though; had been burried for what he felt already was very long ago, pretty much forgotten about it, and in that broken and completely vulnerable state molded and made to be the pup that he was today.

There he was!  His precious puppy!  What an exciting thing to come home to each day – Kosuke grinned as he looked down at the pup helplessly pawing and scratching at his legs, giggled softly as he bent down to pat his head in return.  There he sat for several seconds, patting the cute little mutt and reveling in his own excitement.

     “You missed me, didn’t you, pretty pup?”  More giggles as Kosuke stood up      straight again, walking inside the threshold of the door and continuing on to      the TV room.  “Did you think Master had forgotten all about you?  Even      though he left you that yummy treat?” Down on the couch he went finally turning his attention to the bag to pull out the new toy, giving it a squeak for good measure and holding it up for Robert to get a nice good look at.  He’d wave it for a second, before tossing it over Robert’s head to the floor behind him.      “Go fetch!”

         Master! Master was back home and he smelled funny! But more importantly he was back home!! Finally he wouldn’t be alone and they could play together and cuddle and eat together. Robert was so excited seeing him, it felt like an eternity had passed since they last saw each other (just a couple of hours since the morning when Kosuke had to leave) and he had missed him a bunch; even as he was walking inside the puppy that was Robert kept running around him, panting in excitement and wiggling all over, a tail behind him wagging with all his eager squirming.

         “...!!” As soon as he was reaching into the bag Robert could already tell it was, effectively, a new toy for him. Hearing it squeak just made him that much more thrilled to try it out, bolting out in the direction Kosuke had thrown it, he slidded across the marble floor, way past where the toy actually was only to pounce at it with glee, slipping over the floor once more but with the toy in his mouth this time.

A busy day on the town, fulfilling a couple of jobs the Boss needed done and swiping a couple new toys for the dog – Kosuke’s life was far from hard, but it always felt good coming home at the end of the day where he could relax and keep far away from any sort of responsibility.  A small hum came from his lips as he walked up the hallway, swinging his keys around his finger and waving the plastic bags filled with stuffed plushies in the other hand.      “Robert~  Master’s home~”

         Once again he had been left alone for the day, with nothing to really entertain himself with more than the obsession he currently had on a certain squeaky toy but, really. After hours of chewing and throwing it around and chasing after it even Robert could get tired of it! So what else to do but what for anyone to come home, although, he was, of course, specially waiting for Master. Would he get a special treat? Did he buy him something new? Maybe another friend?

         Oh? A treat? For him?? Ah, Master was ever so thoughtful, wasn’t he! Robert was also sure he definitely deserved it, he’s been such a good boy lately: always listening to Master and his friend; not causing any trouble and even being a good boy whenever the doctor came around to check up on him, even as much as he didn’t like his tail being removed…

         Nevertheless he’ll practically hop over to his bowl, of course eating only the actual dog treat for now. Robert wasn’t hungry for food, just for treats!

         What could the whore do but stand in place, taking that scene in. Kuro...was Dio’s new found puppy? He really got himself trapped by that conman? What a fucking tool.

         So he stepped forward towards him, kneeled down in front of him with an expression that could not be read, a million things were going through his head right now and he couldn’t exactly tell what she should feel in this moment...something else other than anger, that is.

      “Ya fuckin’ idiot━” He stood up to deliver a most deserved kick to Kuro’s face, soon after stepping on it, stomping it with the heal of hi boot. “Y’er really the biggest FUCKIN’ moron.”
