Nobody can fix me if I'm part of the problem.

Frank stared at Teddy for a long, awkwardly quiet moment before shaking his head and heading over to his car to bring over his own jumper cables. “Everyone… everyone, should always have jumper cables. That and a jack, a spare tire, and the right tools to change a flat.”

Teddy stood there clueless and just shrugged it off. Usually all he had to do in this situation was call his parents but they were out of town this weekend. “Uh...I will try to remember that.” He bit down on his bottom lip and sighed. “Maybe.....maybe you could go with me to buy all of these things then, huh? Besides..I rarely drive. I like taking public transport better. Cost less.”

Remi stood stock still – almost like, if he was still enough, the shorter male just wouldn’t see him. 

“Uh… sorry.” He answered, one earbud hanging down. He’d been dancing to the music in his headphones and not watching where he was going. That was how he’d practically plowed over Teddy.

“I thought you weren’t getting off until ten.”

Teddy grinned because even though Remi bumping into him almost made him drop his dinner on the floor it was still a funny sight to see. “I got off early....it was pretty slow.” He walked passed him over to the dining room table, and set the pizza down. “Are you hungry? Jalaroni pizza.” He grinned as he tore open the paper and leaned down smelling the steaming pizza in front of him. “Once slice for you and 10 for me.”

“Well, you left your car lights on all day while you were working. If the car isn’t running, then the alternator can’t recycle the energy, thus your battery drains.” Frank answered with a shrug. “It’s a quick fix. You got jumper cables?”

Teddy sighed because he felt like a fool for leaving his lights on. Stuff like this happens to him all the time. “Okay..” He nodded pretending like he knew what Frank was talking about. He knew nothing. Cars and regular “guy” stuff never interested him. “What are those?”
