I took a break from most socials for some family/real life stuff this spring but I’ll probably come back at some point.

Blessdtoaster (in all its versions) is the name my husband’s Xbox randomly generated for me, many years ago. And I thought it was very funny 😂

Have you ever thought of trying to get it traditionally published? I think it’s a masterpiece, and while my asking is almost (purely) selfish in that I want it on my bookshelf forevermore, I feel like it would be a gift to the masses.

Obviously I don’t have any say in the matter, but wanted to extend my compliments to the chef 👌🏻 C’est Magnifique!

I’ve got to be honest, I am not terribly interested in re-working any of these into something that could be trad-published 🤷‍♀️ I’m usually of the “never say never” contingent but never feels right.

Some day I hope to read publish something, but I think the Dramione-esque things will stay on ao3.

I haven’t thought about an 8th year a whole lot - but I think the hard row universe could use a Voldemort wins AU and an 8th year to really round it out- I just don’t know how I’d get there 😂

It’s one of my absolute favorites, and I genuinely don’t understand why more people aren’t talking about this masterpiece. Honestly, if you ever publish a book, can I start the fan club right now?

This fic found me at a really tough time in my life, and it helped me escape reality, even if just for a little while. I’ve already read it three times, and it’s officially my comfort fic.

The saying itself I heard for the first time probably 10 or 15 years ago, but right before I was ready to post the first two chapters, I still didn’t have a title (which is quite unlike me). I was writing out some Healer Lethe dialogue in chapter three and she was talking about how something must’ve been difficult- and I had her say “well that’s a hard row to hoe indeed”… I stopped and thought - hmm… that would be pretty good.

I liked the rhyme and alliteration of it, and I thought it fit with Malfoy’s journey of redemption in particular.

So I changed what she said (I don’t love it when the title is hidden in the narrative haha) - searched the title to make sure another Dramione wasn’t named the same, and then went on my merry way!

The file on my computer is still named “gpb dm hg”, though, which (rather unromantically) stands for “Grosse Pointe Blank Draco Malfoy Hermione Granger”.
