it is so weird how some people treat slurs “successfully reclaimed” wtf do you mean

everyone will have different relationships to different slurs, even ‘reclaimed’ ones. if you want to use it for yourself that’s fine but that doesn’t mean it’s reclaimed… reclaiming is about taking a nasty word that was yelled at you and going “yeah I am that and so what” and it can be really empowering but that doesn’t mean you get to use it on others

people forgot real quick when tumblr mass scrubbed any mention of someone pointing out that one staff member was a terf and portrayed it as a “harassment campaign.” if you weren’t there to witness it you probably have no clue it even happened because they deleted the account, reblogs of the post off of your blog and deleted any posts where people talked about it and the accounts themselves if they kept pressing the issue. they have the means, they’ve always had the means, to remove the terfs and the nazis from here. but they won’t because, 🤐
