"Well, if tha need someone ta âelp ya figure thinâs ouâ, donâ be afraiâ ta ask me, aye?" He released her hand in favor of hooking his thumbs in the belt loops of his pants. She seemed like a good kidâhe hoped that she would last longer than the majority of the new recruits that they got. "Thaâ, I am," he nodded, "From âUll, specifically. Minâ tellinâ me where yer from, yaself?"
He chuckled quietly as she rambled on about home, speaking up when she had quieted down. âI know âow ya feel, donâ worry. âOmesickness effecâs eveâyone, no matteh âow long ya âave or âave not been away. Iâm a traineâ doctor, I know.â
"London, technically," Hera answered, knowing it was probably hard to tell with how weak her accent is. "But I moved around a lot as a teenager. Parents worked for the government and all that jazz." Rambling was certainly not one of her better habits, but it couldn't be helped.
"A doctor, you say?" the young woman noted, leaning her back against the tattered wall. She was curious, especially considering most of the agents she ran into were combatants just like her. Hera hadn't quite noticed it initially, but there was an odd aura about the man the more she stood near him. It wasn't particularly uncomfortable, just different, and she couldn't quite place it.
