Yama couldn't believe this. Days after her husband leaves and a human already has discovered the town. She stared at the other in absolute horror, beginning to take step back. Should she call out for the others?? Anger and anguish filled her heart as she tried to think of something to do. No...she had to defend the town, even if it meant her life. At least her wings were covered by her coat...

"H-hey!! What the hell are you doing this far into the forest??" 

Backing off immediately and turning a bright, flustered red, he began to stammer in an attempt to apologize.

Who was she? He wondered silently as he eyed the young woman carefully, but tried not to stare. She was quite beautiful, he noted, but probably much closer to his brother's age than his. Sighing a little, he hooked his thumbs into his belt and leaned against the wall. Why was it, he wondered, were all the girls in this damned city taken, too young or insane? He smirked to himself as he reached into his pocket for a packet of cigarettes. He was recalling the memory of the Shadow Woman and silently wondered if he didn't count as insane as well. "You are crazy, Jim." he muttered to himself as he lit a cigarette. "Bat-shit crazy." He looked carefully back to the young woman and raised an eyebrow. He could have sworn for a moment her eyes were red. Blood red! "This damned heat's gettin' to me." he hissed.
